5 years ago, I was in 5th grade. I started playing Noobstown with a friend, coleninjadude, with whom I had been friends with since 1st grade. It was 2013. School was simple, and a lot of time could be spent playing Minecraft. A lot of that time went into building Shinsuki (if you do remember that town) on Noobstown, messing around with texture packs and mods, and just having fun.

It's been 5 years, and now I'm just finishing 10th grade. I checked my old email and realized that one of my unread emails was a Paypal receipt message from buying a rank on Noobstown. Times are very different. Minecraft is dying, and unfortunately, most of my friends and I have either become too involved in school to play Minecraft, or moved to other games.

I remember logging into Noobstown two years ago for a bit of a Nostalgia blast. The old PVP arena with the pirate ships and sandstone cliffs, the spawn with the revolutionary (or not) Generic metatype villagers and trade shops in the back. All gone. And, all gone for a really long time also. I had played in V2, and at the time of logging back in, it was maybe...v6?

Anyways, I'm just here to say hi. For really no reason at all. I do like the Veteran tag, but knowing my overly-nostalgic and anxious self, it just makes me sad those times are gone. Ah. Oh well. I'm still here, living and breathing.

...Yuck! Why did it become so sad? I'm only trying to say hi. That's all. None of anything that makes anyone sad.

So...hi! How are you?

Hey there,

Nice to hear from an old veteran like you again. And yes, about a handful of years I was here too, end of 2012. Not v2 though, but v5.. We're at v6 now. And nostalgia and gameplay has been an important part for me and I do miss the old world and the old gang.

It was nice to hear your story and I hope to see you in-game soon and maybe you find a new spot to build. Best of luck.

I joined mid 2014, or I joined like 2 months after v5 ended and v6 started. Good to see an old member of the community
