Title: AFK Fishing: The Legality
Post by: Catpan on 27 Aug 2017, 19:24:32
I'm already pretty sure that afkfishing is taboo enough, and I've been told it's pretty much okay as long as you're able to answer questions from staff, so what if I make it well established that the player afkfishing is me, while I'm doing something else? (No autoclickers being used, only ingame mechanics!)

I don't think they are allowed at all.
Quote from the post, server rules
"ii. Cheating
You are not allowed to use any sort of cheat or exploit to gain an advantage over other players. Auto-fishing mods are not allowed. AFK or duplication machines are not allowed. Knowing & using but not reporting exploits to staff members can lead to your account being sanctioned."

Doing anything while you're actually away isn't really allowed, how could you be doing things if you're not even there?

Anything which allows you to do anything while you're not really actively playing isn't allowed, including things that prevent you from being automatically kicked when you go inactive. So even if you announce that you're planning to do it, it's still not allowed as Powerage_ suggests.
