As title. Or do I have to use /cprivate on them? I ask because I've come across a few unlocked doors and chests in my travels and wondered if their owners forgot to lock them. Is my own base as secure as I hope it is?
If they lock when made and placed then why have the LWC thing at all?
Thank you.

LWC is what makes them lock, without it people would be able to raid your items etc.

So you're saying that they're not locked automatically, I actually have to lock them myself with /cprivate?

Sorry, they are locked automatically, I completely forgot about answering that bit.

Ah, ok, thankees! :-)
Just one more thing, I did a /cprivate on my doors when, as you've just told me, they were locked anyway. This didn't change or undo anything, did it?

When you /cprivate a privated item it won't affect the current lock. Though if you type /cremove it will then remove the lock on the item.

That's what the owners of those doors and chests I found must have done then. Ok, thanks! :-)
