how does one builds very awesome dwelling?

Try looking at an image or photo of a real life structure you like. Then try and model something in-game that looks similar to what you see in the photo. Or you can free-build. I tend to do the later most of the time. I'll start to build something and let it just evolve as I go. Sometimes it works :)

It also takes practice, (just like that weird place called real-life :D ) and, for me at least, a readiness to tear down what you built because you figured out what you really want. and have fun doing it!

also take it step by step. Good builds take time and it's a process. Don't be in a hurry to finish it one day, as Duelcon said let it evolve and have "stages." It'll be better when you practice patience. :)

^^^ do what they said. i built my wild house over a span of 4 months, because i couldnt figure out what to do next
