Title: I can't fish :O

I don't know if it's something wrong or a new 1.6 thing but when i try to fish i can't hear the splash sound anymore. I can still fish because i can see the bobber thingy go down but it's alot harder now D: I just wanted to know if anyone else was having this problem. I can hear like the water and everything else around me it's just the splash that i can't hear.

1.6.1 Is filled with wonderful bugs and glitches that they need to fix. So just hold tight until 1.6.2.

I'm getting the same problem/situation. It looks like the splash shound (lol shound) is now softer so I had to turn up my volume. But still, it's now completely different.

I think this is because of the texturepacks were changed to resources packs, and resources packs now hold sound.
I have same problem, I fish by the rod going in, not by sound.
