You can get free points but you personally cannot earn them yourself. You can only earn free points when something special happens within the server/forum such as a certain amount of members on the forums.

No, you cannot. The whole system is designed to help both the server out (with the fees of hosting and what not) and to give the people who have donated a better in game experience.

It's a way of the server saying thank you donater :)

The only way you get free points is on on a special occasion, for example the forum reaching 4000 members.
