I've been playing mob arena ever since it came out. I was just wondering what the exact reward list. Hopefully someone (I'm looking at you, admins and mods.) :)

Also, feel free to post your highest round and what class you used.

There are random rewards whenever you play, however you do get better prizes as you get to higher round, which you might have guessed.

Water, you are always giving us cryptic lines... Stop! :P Just give us like a basic thing such as
Round 5: Low level items like Sticks, Gravel
Round 10: low-medium level items Iron and sticks
Round 20: Medium level items IronX20 etc

Something simple, just what we could or may be able to get! :P

I got to 36 (new personal best) and got some gold, iron and at around 30, iron sword. Seems like the iron is quite common, same with the sword.

Yes, when you reach wave 50 you get 1 diamond.
Before that, it is a mix of worthless stuff like bone, dirt, gravel, feather etc. and sometimes something good like 10 Iron Ingot or 8/10 Gold Ingot

And for me, my best solo attempt

21 as a healer.

Here's my problem with you archers, and unless Fatnoob made it infinity FIVE or something, you CANNOT last that long with only a bow.

1. Your dog does not attack unless you get hurt.
2. Even skilled archers' bows break at around 30, and you only get a wooden sword. Useless even to me.
3. NONE of you are even in the top 10 archery=You dont do extra damage. Or top 10 unarmed or swords.
4. You're probably abusing a command.

This is going to be brought up with Fatnoob immediately, Thank you.

You see, not all principles need to be followed to get to round 50 as archer, you need to run around for the first 15-20 rounds then use your equipment IF needed, that's how i do it, and no command is being abused. NO commands are available except for /MA join, /MA Spectate and  /MA Leave  all the commands available that are useable in the mob arena.

There not abusing a command. There abusing the system.  The rounds are on a timer not when you kill all the mobs so all the people do are run around and avoid the mobs.  Im gonna talk to Joe about this too.

Actually there is a command that VIPs can abuse to get back into the arena that has been used for it before, which is against the rules of course.

However if they are on a timer and it is being abused the easiest thing I can say is that change it so that the timer only starts whenever the last mob of a round is killed (Besides the boss rounds, because that would just take forever and would be unfair, as it is incredibly hard to kill).

Although sometimes it does not work on a timer, as three times in a row I was going solo and immediately at the beginning four rounds started at the same time, so I was almost instantly killed by all the mobs that had spawned.

VIP commands are blocked in the arena, teleporting to spawn and usinf /back doesnt work since you get in a teleportation loop. You eventually die after the amount of mobs, also.. abusing? Speed potiojs are there for a reason.. TO RUN!

Last I checked there is still one command VIPs can use to get back into it. And no, I will not say what it is because I don't want people abusing it because there are people who would.

And secondly, you do not have enough speed potions to abuse the system to get 60 rounds in. Also, archers do not get speed potions so therefore it was not speed potions that allowed them to get 60 rounds so that's no excuse there. Also if they did it solo there's no explanation that a healer was the one tossing the potions at them.

New record with archer, got to wave 69. My bow broke at wave 66. So it's completely wrong that "even a good archer" will have his bow broken at wave 30. And it's also wrong that you have to run. All I did was sit in a certain corner and wait for the mobs to come to me. When I've pulled their aggro, I'd kill them, and only those from which I've pulled aggro. There's no need at all to kill all the mobs. You just need to learn how to play your class ;)

P.S.

As for TidalMewMew, I invite you to come watch me go solo in the arena, and reach wave 60 easily. Not using any commands, not letting my bow break, and not running around like a mad-man for the first 20 waves to last. Then you'll see how easy it is if you use the right tactics.

Mantis, Andy..(forgot full name) and myself all got to level 85 as archers. Both me and Mantis still had our bows, mine was only half broken (could have got further but the whole chat was filled with people pleading with us to kill ourselves).
Trick is to alternate who picks off the more threatening mobs, and to only use the sword for the first 30 levels, unless its a special spawn.

Archers were overpowered, and after discussing it with Fatnoob, they have been brought down to power 2 instead of 5. This helps with people getting so far.

I honestly dont think the bow was the problem (got to 81 pre power 5 buff).
Its just that archers can sit in one of the corners and snipe away the more dangerous mobs, zombies and skeletons can be left to the dog.
I think the only way to 'fix' people getting so far is to put a 'minimum amount of players' kind of deal on a arena that large.

So for example make a smaller arena with no hiding places for 1-6ish players. Then for the bigger events use that arena, or an even a bigger one which I heard you were planning on making.

Or just add an outer strip along the edges of all the walls where every few waves mobs spawn back there, make it more interesting and active.
All just suggestions, ill still play the Mob Arena anyway.  :P

Talked to fatnoob about changing how the waves spawn.  Hes going to attempt to make it so you have to kill the mobs to move. Have fun running now.

It's now impossible to cheat the arena.

You need to destroy all mobs to continue on with waves, mobs will now spawn anywhere so there will no longer be any corner-cheating, etc.

Blaze caused too many fire issues, enderman boss tp'd away. Boss is currently disabled.

Bringing the power of the bows down? Why? The way people were getting this far is already fixed by changing the mob's spawn pattern. With the changes you implemented now you:

1. Made archer an unviable class. Less power on bows means no chance at all to survive, with the risk now that mobs spawn right in front of your nose you won't be able to kill them before they  give you at least 1-2 hits. Aka, you'll die in a few waves.
2. Made any class which depends on keeping distance from the mobs unviable, since a charged creeper can spawn in your back and boom, you're dead. Only tank will be a usable class now.
3. By adding a minimum amount of players to start (read minimal 4) you've ruined the activity of the mob arena. Whenever I'm online, we always go in with 2 or 3 players. There are hardly even 4 people on at my online times to start the arena with.

I'm happy that you changed the spawning mechanism of the waves, but please, for the love of god, make that the ONLY change to the mob arena, and keep the rest as it was.

1.) Archers have still made it farther than the tanks due to them holding back. The "randomness" means they won't always spawn right next to you on their spawning areas, they'll spawn all over the arena, but only on their spawning areas.
2.) I played Healer and lived to about wave 10. (Only because we had one melee class, who did everything while archers stayed back, as usual)
3.) We haven't added that in.

Anyway, I made it to Round 30 as Tank. Only reason I didn't go farther was that the boss glitched. (Endermen)

Made some changes to MA.

- Removed minimum player limit
- Added NEW Boss at round 30.
- Increased Power of Archers again (Not too much)
- Increased Beserker power
- Increased Healers defense
- Added Hellhounds to swam round
- Added NEW class Hybrid
- Removed 32 Arrows from Pyro
- Added new Enchant to Knight
- Added new Enchants to Warrior
