i love the new world and all but i swear its 4 times laggier than the last one and far more lag then the temp world...

this is the lag explosivepeep and myself are dealing with. this is right when he loagged out and  logged back in.

I thought you couldn't have texture packs.

Your texture pack seems to have a fairly high definition, make sure you have gone to the video settingsand re-appropriated it to accommodate fps. It reset after the upgrade to 1.6 .  Also, speaking of your texture pack, it seems to have a higher definition than that of the default. It could deter your frame rate.

If you have always had it like that, those are just a few things to check. Otherwise, my client seems to be boding quite well. You might need to relog some till the issue is resolved.

You can have texture packs, just not texture mods.

ive always had my settings as low as possible. and the problem wasnt just me explosivepeep was haveing the same problem he even saw 4 of me at one point. all i did to fix it was /spawn and then went back home and problem was solved.  it seemed to be a problem with the server

Perhaps the conclusion of conflicting mobs.
