Notch has just released Minecraft 1.0! Do not be surprised if you cannot log into Minecraft.

Rember if you wanna try out 1.0.0 all u gotta do is amke a backup for your 1.8.1 .jar file

We should be updating to V5 for Veterans once Bukkit releases their version of Minecraft 1.0.0.

Ok, wait, only veterans get to v5?!

And, for a normal person, like me, who is not a veteran or a vip, who has been here since v2, approximately how long until i get to play?
And will my stats be ok? and money?

You will get access 3 days after the Veterans have access. This is like a testing period to allow us to test our new systems with smaller numbers of users than we may experience if it was just a sudden full release.

As for stats and money, I would hope they are being reset, but to be honest I do not know.

Alpha - 0.1-0.9  Beta 1.0-1.9   Vanilla should be 2.0? :SS:S:S:S:S::S:S:S::S:S:S:S:S:S:S: ARGH IT IS A MINDF**K

I agree it should be 2. But it is just 1.0.0 without the beta; before it was like: "Minecraft 1.7.3 Beta" now it will just be "Minecraft 1.0.0".

So Beta 1.9 never existed.

lets just stick with the numbers being weird but minecraft being awesome  ;)

O sweet Skyrim but ya its like when it went from alpha to beta, so porobally there will be bug fixes + more content :D
