Title: mining world resets?

Just curious as I haven't been on long enough for one.  My question is, is the mining world the same and same spawn point in it after a monthly reset or do we get a new location to mine in with new mineshafts and such?

Complete new seed for the world and new spawn in that world, resets usually on the 1st or 3rd (If late) of each month.
