Everyone is all about Bernard or Horse Handler Henry and Derek gets no spotlight just because he is in the back with all the others. He is the real hero here:

-He helps out the community by having great deals (i mean let's be real here 7 emeralds for a cake who wouldn't jump at that opportunity.)

-If you look closely at the photo below you can see him grooming our cattle because he's the one that actually cares.

-It's obviously not fun standing all the way in the back when the others get to be right in the front, but Derek manages to keep a happy mood at all times. He does it for us. So please people, next time you visit spawn and greet Bernard and HHH, also remember to send a happy hello to Derek. Thank you.

Derek is no hero. He is a scalper at best and possibly a down right criminal.

Word on the street is that he has been kicked out of the merchants guild and that is why he is not allowed inside the building with the other vendors. As a result he loathes those respectable sellers and in a vain attempt to negatively impact their honest businesses he set up his own shop just outside where they have no authority.

His items are of dubious origin and likely "fell out of a chest" at some point. Do not be surprised if whatever you buy from him gets confiscated by the admins as part of a ongoing investigation. Caveat emptor.

This is all rumor and speculation, but regardless, I don't like the look of Derek nor do I trust him. Seven emeralds for a cake indeed!
