It is now getting very annoying how much the server get giant lag spikes and often crash, I thought the update would make this not happen.
It is very annoying to build a arena on the size of a nether fortress and get lag :3
-
it could be there connection speed cuz there ethernet connection might not be able to handle sending huge amounts of data to loads of computers and once every second
or it may be there ip hoster

Idk but before it never happened so it has to be something they did wrong :p

that might have been cuz like they might have had less plugins and less members and so that means less data going through the ethernet but they keep adding new things and stuff to build on lag
the server crashes sometimes cuz they use worldedit and do huge things with it sometimes or it might just be a error with one of there self made plugins or something

We have one of the best hardware setup's going it's nothing to do with the hardware we are running on, all these false assumptions are really irritating. The current problem we are facing is PermissionsBukkit, we have over 30,000 Players set-up in a yaml file, this is crazy. We are hoping to migrate to PEX as the data can be stored in a MYSQL data base, all the rank changing and such is causing lag because the file is getting bigger. We plan to fix this soon, but it'll be hell of a job.
