Also for the horses that require donating, are there already prices made up for them? And how about the VIP horses are there any prices for these already?

VIP horses are free horses for VIP which is the Black Horse.
Token holders can spend tokens to unlock the White Horse.

Donation Prices for Skeletal and Undead horses are not set in stone yet.

So... will normal breeding be enabled or is buying them the only way to get more horses?

Same things for nametagging neutral mobs: will they stay there forever or are only officially server bought pets that are permanent?

This was asked a few times but never got an official answer.

Normal breeding will be enabled. However, breeding a horse the traditional way does not protect it from player killing and does not save its contents nor the entity itself. Meaning that anything you find in the wild is always going to be temporary like normal Minecraft, they may despawn or be killed. Horses within the stable system are saved and re-summonable at any time you wish.

Cost has not been decided just yet, sorry.

This is how the rank system works

Member -> VIP

Veteran -> VIP

Then if VIP runs out

Member -> VIP -> Supporter
Veteran -> VIP -> Veteran

Obviously Lifetime VIP would cancel out Veteran completely, however you will still have access to all your veteran commands and perks.

Love this system, will be nice to know that you always got something that can help you get around in the wildy faster, or just having a nice ride around the awesome (AND MASSIVE) spawn =)

So even a named entity can despawn?

I don't mind if it's not protected, as long as it doesn't despawn.

Unfortunately named entities are still effected by our dynamic despawning system, or else each named entity on the server would be forever loaded and would eventually clog up the machine causing lag. We tend to try and be fair about our animal and monster sharing, but this is something we cannot do. However, if you was going to re-name a mob as a pet then you could use the pet system to buy a pet that follows you etc.

So there is still scheduled mob clearance because I heard mobs on your plot don't despawn.

It's not a scheduled thing anymore, it spawns/despawns mobs depending on how many players are nearby.
So even mob on your plot can despawn (especially if there's no one else around and you log off).

Basically it's not possible to get any sort of permanent animal farm from what we could see until now, unless we could just get multiple active pets that we can breed over and over.

(that or custom spawners, but nothing was said about those yet)

They were special blocks, like the natural mobs spawner you could find in vanilla, but you could set them to spawn a specific type of neutral mob (sheep, cow, etc). The spawn rate was kinda slow to avoid lag and there was a limit to how many mobs would spawn.

That was the only method to avoid losing a whole animal farm due to despawning.

 how do you get a custom mob spawner?
