after i died in lava with a pic i got that very day ive come up with an idea

so here it is you would use a command /buyinv and then a message will come up saying "everytime you die you will lose x amount of money do /buyinv confirm to confirm"

i assume it is pretty self explanatory but when you do the command when you die you'll keep your stuff but it will cost x amount of money

i dont know any plug-ins that would do that but there has to be some

im sure there are plenty of people that hate losing there stuff and im sure that ppl would love to pay a few noobz to get there stuff back

Doesn't sound like a lot of survival for a survival server to me.
Losing items is part of it.. that's why we can earn money and get perks through the global market, etc.

I agree. I spent 30,000 on a bow for max enchants, then went to nether to kill some ghasts, couldn't mine out and failed a jump, burned and lost that bow, with full diamond and diamond sword. Also a stack of food and diamond pickaxe.

well yea but how would you do that for things like only one player having keep inventory and paying noobs for it?

which is why it would cost like 10,000 to get it back and that's not including items breaking and accedentaly dropping them or times you would forget to do /keepinv

yea and I'm sure you wouldn't mind spending around 10k to get it all back

There's a lot of other perks that wouldn't jeopardize the balance of the server that could be bought. Survival is just that, it's having to weigh the risk vs the rewards. If you sell 16 diamonds every day, that's 19200 (minus server tax). If you vote every day, that's 2500. There's no really good reason to implement something like keepinventory, IMO.
