Hey, i came across this when looking for a new design for a moat. Craftbook is a plugin that gives a new way to use redstone, which is really not used that much.

I don't think they would put this into the server, because the main point that they wanted to keep in Noobscraft was for it to be a vanilla server, with commands or visual aspects changed with plugins, not blocks. This plugin is mainly to create things that would normally be mods, such as adding blocks that do things vanilla blocks will probably never be able to do. If they did this, the server would lose its "vanilla MC" feel, which I don't think Foob, Lawrence, and the rest of the staff would want. Not saying this isn't a great idea though!

Good idea and everything, but I must agree that it would take away the Vanilla feel to Minecraft.

I also would have to say that I rather like the vanilla feel. While this maybe a cool idea, I'd feel my experience by this plugin a little coddled by it.
