Suggestion/Idea Guidelines

1. General Guidelines
  • We appreciate every suggestion, however, please do not expect your suggestion to be implemented, however merit-worthy they seem to be: a final decision is made by an Admin in accordance with certain criteria.
  • Suggestions, if granted, may take a while before they are implemented in-game, this is usually due to the complexity of plugins &c; do not expect it to be instant.
  • A staff member endorsing or complimenting your suggestion does not imply or guarantee it will be implemented.

2. Tips and Advice
  • Be constructive in your suggestions and feedback. In other words, don't be negative.
  • Ensure that if you are suggesting plugins, that they are updated.
  • Do not mistake plugins with modifications and suggest something that is only available in single player.
  • Make sure your suggestion is realistic! It is unfeasible to suggest a huge server overhaul in a short amount of time.
  • Make sure your ideas are expressed clearly without any ambiguity; ensure you use simple terminology so that others can understand (and don't presume that we know specific plugin/code terms).
  • If you're suggesting a theme month, try to make it as general as possible. Themes relating to specific films, or books, etc. are likely to be too specific for others to understand. For example if instead of suggesting a specific film/book like Harry Potter the idea of wizards is much more generalised and more people can relate to it.
If you are constructively criticising or commenting on a suggestion, ensure it is constructive and do not engage in counter-productive name calling e.g. this is a silly idea, therefore the person who wrote it is also silly.
