Title: Town Labels on Map
Post by: ecctv on 4 Feb 2015, 00:54:42
I really don't know how the whole live server map works so if this isn't possible that's fine. But I was thinking it would be cool if there was a way to mark the towns on the map. Sometimes I may be browsing around and I'll see a cool town but not know what it is called so I can't visit.
I guess one way would be to write it big on the ground so it is visible from the map but I'm curious if there is a way to do it with the map itself.  :D

Great idea!
Admins, there's a plugin for this already: https://github.com/webbukkit/Dynmap-Towny

This is a great idea and something we'll definitely be looking to add now. Thanks for the idea it has been put on my list of things to implement; look forward to it in the future!

I don't know if the plugin that itsnotyou mentioned can do this, but it would also be cool if the name of the owner of wild lands appeared over their wild plots.

This feature has now been implemented: https://www.noobscraft.com/site/towns-are-now-on-the-map/ (https://www.noobscraft.com/site/towns-are-now-on-the-map/msg82060/#msg82060), your feedback would be appreciated.
