hi am new to server and first time played online tho played minecraft for while on xbox and singleplayer.
guessing a tad older than average player and not used to chat etc.
wonder if anyone could recommend town with higher percentage of adult players that might be looking for new members. lovely to have a mix but would like few people over 21 around who will put up with my ineptitude

You are by far older then average on this server :p It is several people around 30 - 40 years old that play here, and is very active on the server as well.
The most active player of ALL is Mrfloris, and he is 36 I believe it was out of memory, so yeah :p finding "older" people on the server isn't hard :)

Welcome! Though it's true that a majority of Minecraft players are younger, the more important 'average' here is that we have a very welcoming and helpful community. There is certainly a learning curve for getting the hang of things, between all of the chat window commands and the way all of the server plugins work, so don't be afraid to ask. There's always somebody willing and able to help, either in game, or here on the forums. For a head start, check out some of the treads at http://www.noobscraft.com/guides/ (http://www.noobscraft.com/guides/) - there's enough information there to get you familiar with many of the unique aspects of the server.

I'm 22 and while it's not as old as other plays, I enjoy and prefer playing with older people on the server. I'm a TA of Bushido and Bushido has mostly older players (players we can trust) so come talk to me or Dadjaeger and we'll try and get you set up. (but if I were you I'd just wait until v6, I'd hate to see you spend so much time on joining and building a house and then lose it all when v6 comes along) but either way we'd be glad to have you.

I have just joined Noobtown, I'm probably older than most (61) and I understand the learning curve for adults in a playground of children , my slow typing alone has frustrated many players on a different server, my slow computer doesn't help my son has helped me in the problem areas ( I had trouble buying and selling in a market at first, we all learn at our own pace , ask for help if I can I will, Hoppytoadbob the ancient miner.

Thanks for the welcome, FatNoob, I believe the rules make it fun for all not just a few cheats and bullies, The only problem was surviving my first night , between the spiders and creepers they did me in without armor, I did manage to take out a few skellys bare handed, Hoppytoadbob the ancient miner.
