Title: Nether Support in 1.6
Post by: INEEDANAME1564 on 8 May 2011, 15:09:14: So, if you have not already heard, Notch will apparently be bringing Nether Support for SMP in Beta 1.6.
Are any of you interested or excited, or just don't care?
Tell me what you think.

I think we could have trips to the Nether and see how long you could last before getting blown to bits by a Ghast, or something along those lines.

minecraft has a plugin to support the nether on multiplayer servers

Nether sucks on singleplayer, But on multiplayer it might not be so bad

I agree he also needs to make multiplayer more stable.

no offence to you mikey but buildings made out of only nether are really ugly :/

I knew that there were plugins available for the Nether but with plugins, comes another hold up if Notch puts out an update, we would have to wait for the developer to update the plugin before we could use it.
