Hello.
I have altered your original post slightly so that the *'s aren't there. I assume you didn't put any form of curse word but to get rid of those stars I edited the post.

Thank you.

It obviously depends on what texture packs you like, my favourite texture pack is Sphax PureBD Craft, it gives the game an even more cartoony look :)

But then again, if you like mediaeval styled textures, try something like John Smith's.

Well I like Sphax PureBD Craft as well, but if you're into more modern textures try Mordern.... it was called something like that.

I agree with Biggiebill, That texture pack that he linked is really cool, it very smooth, yet subtle. I think that is has room for improvement, but as it is, Its a great pack

I like Mumbo's texture pack, and I have also used and like Ozocraft 1.8b

Personally, I like to avoid the use of texture packs when I build, as I prefer my builds to look good to all without necessary texture changes.
Other than that... I like things like Faithful which stick to normal-like textures, but make them higher definition and with more pixels.

I like Chroma Hills (64). It is a great a transition from default ( for those who need to familiarize themselves with the block change). It is very easy on the eyes. With optifine you get the "mutliple skins per block". It was 3rd place for top tens MC skins last year, and I've had an extremely hard time finding a skin that does a better job. The next thing for me is my own personal custom resource pack. Just try it out. I don't have a link but if you google it, it comes up easily to find.

I would suggest the Ovo's Rustic pack.

I would recommend the paper cut out resource/texture pack.

While we're at it, soartex (fanver) is pretty nice too if you like a more simplistic clean look and feel.
