glitch with redstone

so im playin on single player getting my house design prepped for the new server when i notice that u can no longer de-power redstone torches... i know i thought this was a bit odd so i tried it from all angles still cant turn the power off. hmmm oooo mister notch u have a glitch! and it interferes with my home!

anyone else having this problem?

Ik, some many things im trying with pistons need a not powered torch! And now tnt cannons wont work either!

on 1.6.6 you would apply power to it. lets say u had a switch and redstone and along the path of redstone u put a repeater, then more redstone until u get to a redstone torch. well once u flip the switch it should turn power off to the redstone torch.

I have this issue with not gates, I can't get them to go on when off or off when on :(.

yup its a big problem. i even tried to do it with a clean install and still had the same problem
