I am the Mayor of Gallifrey and I was wondering if i could get my towns nether portal activated?  I have asked a mod and they had said to use the spawn one. I tried to get more information but received no response.  I know they were busy, but i had failed metion i was the mayor when i had asked.  I would just like some more clarification of why I may have been denied.

Same here. I'm a TA in DeepHaven. And I asked Licksterboy if he could light it and he said he can't I don't know if he was just busy at the time or if mods aren't able to do things like that. Could an admin or someone light it for me? I just want my town to be able to get to the nether via personal portal. Thank you. ^_^

I asked Aqw and he said that only Admins can.

A lot of town portals that ARE lit do not even work. Just use the ones provided at spawn.

the tiny (microscopic size)  problem of having to use the one at spawn isn't nearly as big of a problem if there were more Nether portals, as that would only cause the nether to lag tons.
