Hey everyone, I was thinking about when I first started playing minecraft and remembered a time when people could tell I was a noob. So why don't we share our own stories right here! Here is mine...
I found myself playing a pvp server (at the time I didn't know what that was) with my brother madcow22, and we built a very nice wooden house that must have taken us an hour and a half to make. Not even a minute after we finished some player came over into our house. At the time we were down in the mine but we could see his name, so I told madcow to go see what he was doing. When the guy saw madcow he struck him and madcow was dead. Not only that, but he was burning down our house. I tried to go up and stop him but he someone killed me with one punch. We spawned to our home but it was to late the guy was gone including the house. We left that server very angry. I then found out a little after we played that server what a pvp server actual meant. :( :P

I don't really have much to say, because I played on Noobstown (My first server) few months after I bought Minecraft. Well, I remember that I had to look up a recipe for an axe or crafting table, god, feels so embarassing now.
When I first joined the server I was like "Omgomgomgomg how do I do that? omgomgomg". I was totally noobish, and everyone just ignored me. Then there was little town, then Adonia, and then Entrolla (To wihh I always stayed faithful, R.I.P <3).

I pretty much similar to Tyber, but I had Geo explaining the basics to me lol. I played a couple of times on his account at his house, waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay back, ages ago, so then I didn't need to learn much about the game by the time I got it myself about a month or so after :D

Oh hairy god... I remember It used to take me a whole minecraft day to make a little cave to spend the night in. Because I never knew there was pickaxes in minecraft... I discovered that swords made breaking thinks faster, so I would dig my little caves with many wooden swords. Then I was told you got stone in the game but all I had ever had was wooden tools, I searched up and apparently you get pickaxes? What is this technology?
yeah well.. I feel like a right noob now.

I played on the multiplayer servers on minecraft.net for a long while before real servers were introduced....
I kept hearing about people getting griefed...
one day I went to my brother:

it is so stupid to think off it.
and I always forgot how you make the tools XD
so I always asked my brother and one day he just told me about minecraftwiki XD
I really thought it was a page of the real wikipedia XD
and one day I felt like I was one of the best mc players XD it was when I made a really nice house!! (a non-squere house!! :O)

and now a friend of mine is saying Im like the best mc player in the world -.- wich is just totaly not true.
I can say Im totaly not a noob anymore, but when you compair me with one of the top or even my brother you can say Im kind of a noob

and the last thing: when I came on my first server ever wich my brother found (guess what.......: Noobstown)
I didnt want to leave his side because I was afraid of the monsters XD and I was always learning from him in V2 and always lived in his house but wanted to make it bigger and stuff( I kept getting my stuff from him and kept destroying redstone wires by accedent while making the house bigger and stuff.

biggest fail moment(s)
first attempt to find redstone:
i was too scared to dig under my home due to... i don't remember, so i went off exploring and when i found alot i decided to go home to make a compass and then a map, but when i went home i spent a week (in real time) trying to find my home again, and with the whole trip back i had to build makeshift homes to survive the nights (i didn't know about peaceful mode at that time)
my first fireplace:
i finally had a nice big home made out of wooden planks, and decided to make a small library with a fireplace, when i made a nice little brick fireplace and placed the nether rack, i lit it and soon the tower at my home was on fire, in the end i got rid of the fire and placed covered jack o' lanterns there instead...

Found a server and joined it for about two months Became moderator after 2 weeks (Irony?) Then it closed down.
Went server Hunting and found many servers but none of them i could play on for long.
Found Noobscraft. Decided to build a cathedral... Found out that it was uneven and had to rebuild all inner pillars.
Got moderator and decided to try lava survival minigame. Succeeded till the lava came... No-one could go near that place for a few hours till Joe got rid of it.
V4, made the bone structure of an Ark. flooded that area with water Server crash then only a small number could go near it... Got rid of it eventually.

Oh god, I remember my first days of playing MC. I didn't realize that lava set wood on fire, so I built a really tall wooden building with a glass dome at the top! I made a secret room behind a painting that I was really proud of, but then I added the incinerator. It would have been OK if I hadn't made it's container out of wood... My house burned down, but the noobiest thing about it was that I rebuilt it about 3 times after that, never realizing my mistake </3.
P.S. I've been playing MC since 1.2 (i think), but I only just figured out how to make stone a few weeks before Christmas 2011... Derp.
