In October (of 2013) Pokemon X and Y came out. I was wondering if anyone else here plays either of them (or if I'm the only Pokemon nerd). if you and you add friends to your 3ds or 2ds my friend code is: 4339-3026-6808 if you want to add me, I have both and some pretty good pokemon on them so give me a shout if you play and want to trade or battle with me.

and when it comes out ill have like every ledgendary and what not because I used action replay on my white and I have this poke builder app that also sends hacked pokemon to the game >:D
all th epokemon above I got legit during trade, but when pokebank comes out itll mean nothing...

If you guys want some awesome tips on the game, I used to explore the games till I had every nook and cranny explored and every trick booked. (This was from the Diamond and Pearl games to Black and White 1, but many of the tricks still work).
One such trick that I tried on Olah's Y game (I think it was Y) was when you first enter a battle, hit bag, select a pokeball (OTHER than a Master Ball, preferably a pokeball or great ball), and use it. When the pokeball starts to catch the pokemon (before the ball closes) tap B over and over. When it closes hit B. When it first hits the ground hit B. And lastly, every time it shakes back and forth, hit B. The trick usually works. It will catch any pokemn, even with full health and even legendary. When Smith and I used to play in Diamond and Pearl, he could catch a full health Palkia with a regular pokeball in a couple tries.

See Olah, your problem is that you only have 6 good Pokemon. You need to train more of them so you can build your team to be strong against whoever you face. Knowing how all of the types match up to each other is a huge part of battling.

It also doesn't help when I have 4 fighting and she has a flying xDD her Crobat it's to strong cause its super effective on about everyone in my team

Exactly. Don't focus so much on one type! Psychic is strong against flying and so is electric, so use them against a Crobat. And of course your Pokemon aren't good to train, because you never use them! If you want your Pokémon to be good then train them.

Exactly. Don't focus so much on one type! Psychic is strong against flying and so is electric, so use them against a Crobat. And of course your Pokemon aren't good to train, because you never use them! If you want your Pokémon to be good then train them.

Olah, what you need to do is to 1. Have all of your Pokémon be different types. 2. Use elixirs and proteins and such to upgrade your Pokémon's offense, defense, Sp. offense, and Sp. defense according to what is weakest on the Pokémon.

ok, I ran across a thing yesterday and I want to know what it means so I wonder if any of you that have x and y can answer this for me...
I got a victini a couple days ago, and It has a pink :D next to the symbols that you can check off, like the blue thing means it was a legit bread pokemon in Kalos, a red star means its shiny, and then a pink :D, so I was on the gts and I searched Palkia, and someone wanted a victini for a shiny Palkia, so I was going to trade, I hit trade on victini and it says I cant trade cause its a special pokemon... I have 2 other pokemon that have the :D and I was wondering if anyone can explain to me what the pink :D means...

btw your arceus is hacked and all of you shinys are. Not to be rude or anything but im pretty sure arceus cant know Roar of Time or Shadow Force and shiny legendaries are super rare soo....:P
EDIT: while looking it up it seems that there was an event with an arceus that had judgment, roar of time and special ren. But everything else seems suspicious :P

There's a thing called a duplication glitch :3 the guy I got them from told me he duplicated them, so he only needs one and he can make unlimited...

you havent seen me yet. i will probably fail. seeing that my team tends to only be fire and fairy types but i am working on training others, gotta get my armaldo and my heliolisk to 50. idk why but i keep thinking heliolisk evolves into something but i know it doesnt. but it seriously looks like it has a 3rd evolutionary form, and i start rambling. lol. heliolisk will hopefully be a good addition to my team. especially with parabolic charge(i love spamming that move so much) to break stuff.
a crobat you say? my plan is ruined!!! lol not really. but i believe crobat has either high speed or a high special attack/attack(?) but its probably speed. or its picture wouldnt be on the speed bag L from super training, which i guess they hint at the pokemon who can get the highest level in that stat(?) honestly idk but it is a possibility. yay rambling!

i always do set to lv 50, the one time i did a free level battle, i ended facing a level 100 mega charizard X, i got completely obliterated. so yeah, also my base pokemon is usually florges, USUALLY. i will probably use some other random pokemon just for fun.
but seriously though, when you are on the screen when your preparing for a multiplayer battle(pokemon list and bag items) when you press the music button to change it to musics 1-11, does that music play for both players or only for the player that picked it?

The reason i bother replaying it at all is because when I picked it of of my dusty nostalgia drawer and fired it up, my once lvl 94 pikachu was named TUNDER and was lvl14 ;-;

get gyrados!! it makes no sense since it can(not sure if can in yellow) learn thunder, blizzard, fire blast and other insane moves...otherwise find the most insane dragon type possible in yellow...dont know wat it is yet...

dragonite? nevermind then. dragonites take too long to train, best get at least one ice-type, a water type, maybe a psychic type and possibly a ground type if i remember the elite four correctly...which i probably dont...

yep, BUT fairy types finally break spiritomb and sableye as well, seeing as nothing was supereffective against them, and someone could cheat in a spiritomb/sableye with wonderguard and obliterate everything. fairy types are so-so...seeing as they get obliterated by poison types and steel types. poison types are always just bleh. steel types are meh. idk why they had to make the fairy type so crazy, but they did

in my opinion klefki makes no sense and is kinda derp. steel fairy, steel is supereffective against it(tested but could be remembering wrong), fire obliterates it, not sure about ground, also its a floating keychain. it has no evolutions, and that fact i dont like AT ALL

i dont really like using xerneas though, ever since i got X and Y i dont want to use legendaries for any battle at all. but i am having the worst time finding a replacement for xerneas. since i can find any other fairy types that can learn thunderbolt and the other overpowered moves xerneas knows...anyone got any suggestions for a pokemon that can replace xerneas?
BTW: google the mega evolution stones. got all of them in a half hour(in pokemon X). i finally have mega gengar! yay!

I god moded both the town and the swamp shooting galleries(took me 1 try to get a perfect score for the quiver then 1 try to get perfect for the heart piece. in the town took me 1 try to get the super quiver and 2 tries to get the heart piece. this was all in the same 5 minute-ish time frame btw)
then I play the alien invasion sidequest, the one that everyone dreads because of how impossible it is...

I agree they made the bosses easier (Except Gyorg and Twinmold, who I found not harder, but more annoying to fight). On the topic of the shooting games, I find that the gyro controls made them a lot easier for me, and I also never found the alien invasion quest hard at all. I'm currently doing a 3 heart run for the challenge, and find it's mostly the controls and new mechanics making the game easier.
On the topic of Pokémon, I have finished making up two teams, and I wouldn't mind a little battle/trading. On the subject of trading, I have quite a lot of rare event Pokémon, and if you are the type of person who likes Pokémon from different parts of the world, I have the Japanese version of the game, so all Pokémon traded by me will have a JPN region stamp. In the original version. the alien invasion was the hardest challenge. took me the better part of many months of grinding the shooting galleries for the quivers. even at the largest quiver I barely made it. and gyorg was definitely easier, they added a new phase to keep you from arrow camping him. I was legitimately confused on how to kill him. but I pulled through, nearly died too. Glad they still kept some challenge for DEMON FISH.
also, define rare event pokemon: event legends, event hidden ability pokemon or both?

I'm way to scurd to look in your direction now fire, because when you look at a npc trainer or walk by them you have to battle em. :P, and also I'm only back from this summer camp on a part of the weekend. #gottacatchemall
