Was herobrine on our server?

I know there used to be herobrines spawning in the MA. But a few days ago it said someone was killed by Herobrine, and it wasn't just once, its happened a few times. Can someone explain it to me?

Lol, no if you type the commands /kill or /killlme it will say you were killed by Herobrine. It's all fake. No Herobrine, not anymore.

D: darn... So did herobrine ever ACTUALLY exist? I'm so absorbed in the 'myth' lmao. I sooo want Notch to put him back in with like a .0001% chance of him being created on your world... it would be so epic..

I don't actually know if he exists, I doubt it but, it would be cool if they re-added him, or added him for real, whatever.

the command /kill doesn't work anymore it says "you do not have permission to do that"

and you could meet herobrine in the mob arena
