Title: What are your favorite mods and why?

I saw something like this on page 26 of Other and thought it would be cool. What are your favourite minecraft mods and why?
Mine is Technic because I have no clue how to get other mods on the Technic Launcher.
So post here and a picture would be nice too (not a requirement though)

Do modpacks counts too?
Technical/modern mods- Feed The Beast (Mindcrack , Ultimate , Unleashed, Direwolf20`s pack) ,
RPG mods- divine rpg & hexxit.
PvP mods- Voltz , Lapito`s Galactic craft.
