Suggestions & Ideas / Re: VIP++?
« on: 10 Mar 2016, 22:30:48 »
Mods don't have access to flying (I think) so I can't see them ever making flying a buyable perk in-game, especially since it would ruin the survival aspect of the server and would give those players a huge advantage over others.

Truly terrifying.  :O

Thats what I mean if you actually sleep you cant play half of the games here

They have to fit the events in times that are both suitable and doable for the Admins to host and for the largest amount of members to be online which is normally in the afternoon for the Americans and sadly that means it has to be late at night/early morning for Europeans and others.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Twilight Forest Mod
« on: 21 Aug 2014, 23:51:57 »
That's probably because it was part of a modpack therefore the server would have had a collection of mods, e.g. Twilight Forest for the server to include. Modpacks normally have their own launchers such as the Technic Launcher which has numerous modpacks which download all of the mods at one time therefore there will be no issue with someone not having the mod upon joining the server.

Competitions & Events / Re: Summer Events Timetable
« on: 11 Aug 2014, 23:36:53 »
I'd just like to thank all the staff involved with these events past and future because they are really great fun and something I look forward to. However, during tonight's event it has come to my attention that there are some players that try and ruin the fun and game-play experience during these events, whether intentional or not. These special events are rare and something that should be remembered for good, I do not want to be remembering these summer events as a time of raging at people for ruining the events. I'm not entirely sure what I aim to get out of posting this but I do hope you take it on board and remember there are people involved in the events trying to make memories on the server with their friends but there can also be toxic players that ruin the event for others so I wish that you will in future deal with them properly.

Also.. a slight bit of constructive criticism.. for the boat racing it's kinda difficult to get ahead of someone, even if they crash, because the course is so narrow in areas (where most people crash) you try and overtake someone but you either end up swerving into the walls and crashing or going straight into them and crashing.. make of that what you will but I'd like to see boat racing to be fairer in the future.. okay now I'm just rambling on.. but yeah thanks for the events Staff! 8|

Support / Re: My Supporter Rank's gone.
« on: 9 Aug 2014, 16:46:10 »
I changed it I believe the day before last, so that's probably the reason for the issue. If it's not fixable that's not a problem, it just gives me an excuse to get VIP again haha! :)

I had the same issue and lost my Veteran tag when I changed my email so you just need to wait for an Admin to fix it whenever they have the time to do so. ^_^

edit: I highly doubt they have removed the Supporter rank as SwiftLegacyTG "theorized".

Great to see Netherfrosts lake will be getting used and thanks for the opportunity to do so Duelcon. I just hope the lake will be up to the standards and works well. Sadly I'm on holiday so I won't be able to attend this but good luck to all competitors and hope you have fun!

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Death in mining world
« on: 11 Jul 2014, 14:52:05 »
Last time I died from this it happened instantly and I couldnt do anything about it
Also where do you find out about mining world reset

So far they've never gave an exact date for the mining world reset but as I've already said it's around the beginning of every month, which is a good enough warning for everyone to know that the mining world (and Nether etc.) will be resetting. After the mining world has reset they normally put up a notice on the website.

This probably sounds stupid but if you know for a fact that the mining world is going to reset at near the beginning of every month just make sure you don't log out when you're actually still in the mining world, therefore you won't need to worry about logging back in and finding out the world has reset thus resulting in you losing your stuff if you suffocate. I highly doubt there is anything the staff can do to prevent this, they give you a good enough warning before the world resets.

Noobstown General / Re: Creating Golems
« on: 7 Jul 2014, 22:17:39 »
Can you create Snow golems? It would be really helpful for my town, I only need one. :)

I believe they are disabled, same with snow golems.

I believe they are disabled, same with snow golems. I think it's to minimize the amount of lag produced on the server by extra entities that aren't really needed.

I'm sure Netherfrost would be more than happy to take part in hosting one of the future fishing events therefore I shall take it upon myself to consult the rest of the town staff. May I also ask for a list of all staff members that are willing to host a fishing event so I know who I can consult once construction is finished (although I don't think the fishing lake will be our first town priority at the moment).

Support / Re: server sick or is it just me?

I have a bunch spots in my wheat farm that no longer grow.  Works with bone meal, but never continues.  Anyone else seeing this?

Regarding this, as other's have already stated the light is most likely the issue here as I was having a similar problem to you until I investigated further and found out the blocks where the wheat weren't growing were being supplied with less light than the surrounding. I believe the "bl" of the block has to be 9 or above for it to grow. (If you don't know what bl means it's "block light" and to find it out you have to press F3)

Do you get to keep your money?

No. Everything is reset. Mcmmo skill levels, money, world etc.

If it follows the trend with every other transition between versions then yes you will have to start from scratch again. But v7 is meant to be a long way away so there's no need to worry about it now.

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: MCMMO 2x Exp Events
« on: 22 Jun 2014, 21:33:33 »
2x xp for mcmmo happens every time there is a special event on the server (I believe) and I really don't see why it should become any more frequent than that. If it was any more frequent than that it would be boring and too easy to level up and it would be way less rewarding.

This has happened in the past and it hasn't took long for them to fix it in the past so hopefully it will be back up soon. If you're concerned about finding who is online on the server without going on the server itself, you can check the live map for a list.

From my knowledge these are the colours available to use in the chat (unless they somehow have extra colours from a plugin or something).
Black just wouldn't look very nice in the chat.
Dark Blue I'm not very fond of either  (I also don't think it looks good in the Minecraft chat from what I remember).
Dark Green is global chat.
Dark Aqua is [Veteran].
Dark Red is used for plugin messages like LWC etc.
Purple is used in /msg.
Dark Yellow I believe is [VIP] but it looks different on the website to in-game.
Grey and Dark Grey aren't very appealing.
Indigo is mining world chat.
Bright Green is [Prefect].
Aqua is [Supporter].
Red is [Admin].
Pink is [Mod].
Yellow is local chat.
White is [Member].

Now that I've had a long thought about this the only colours I see that could be suitable would be dark red or dark yellow. That's just my opinion though.  :)
