Awww so sad to see you go!  :'(

I don't know you really well, but I am the type of person that doesn't say good byes - I am more of a see ya later kinda gal!  :)

I really do hope you keep checking in when you have time, and that you don't make this a complete final good bye.

Just like the best types of relationships (friends, family, intimate, marriage etc) all relationships have hiccups and ups & downs. That's what helps them grow, be strong & be special.  It's always sad to see friends go, move on and all that. True friends always find ways to keep in touch somehow, someday.

I also believe, when one doors closes, it opens the opportunity for more to be opened.  Good friends may go, but new ones may also be found and made.

I really hope that you have fun and succeed at your schooling and all your future endeavors. Real life always should come before playtimes on computers.  If you ever need anything, we are here, and if you get bored or have some time to play on your computer, please do come back, say hi & make sure to keep checking in.

We will be having some fun stuff upcoming as well.  Plus, the holidays are coming, Noobsween and Noobmas is even just around the corner! (wow hey?)

Hope to still see you around! :P

I really need to put an alarm on or something to remind me and get me on that list too! Sometimes I have a memory like a goldfish! lol.

Thank you Larry!! :D

Thank you Foob for everything you have done for this community.  It truly is amazing, and you guys have really built something special. Everyone is always so grateful for all the work, time and dedication that has been put into Noobscraft. If you keep working as hard in the future, nothing can stop you & you will achieve all your life goals.

You will be greatly missed as you are loved tons here.  I am so glad that I have had the opportunity to meet you & experience some of the events & fun times here while you were part of it.  <3

I don’t see how there’s any chance that someone like you can fail in your future endeavors, but I’ll say good luck to you anyway just in case you need a little.  :)

Wishing you all the best, and hopefully you are able to come & see us when you have some free moments.

« on: 7 Jul 2016, 03:11:22 »
Wow, goats!  and so many other animals!  I love everyone's pictures of their pets.  <3

I didn't even see this thread before!

I love animals!  <3

So, I saw the goat pictures and I asked my boyfriend for a goat - he said no, but he said i can get a dog one day (he always said no to that!) so I guess if I just keep giving animal choices & keep asking, one day I will eventually get more animals! haha.  :D

Right now we have three cats - Mittens (in the window), Cuddles (trying to play board games with us), and Tiggy (in the box)

Suggestions & Ideas / Re: Inactivity
« on: 26 Jun 2016, 01:43:54 »
I too do agree with this with what everyone has said here.

Having just come back from a break myself, I understand the urgency of breaks, and sometimes they are out of people's control.  Real life does always come first by all means.

If a moderator needs to have time off for that, so be it - its like a vacation or leave from a job really. Short breaks or time away, they come back & are active, then yea it's business as usual.

But honestly, I have been here a year now, and there are some mods that I have never seen play nor have I ever talked to.  Granted I play mostly late at night, but on weekends & holidays I have been on throughout the day - i have done /seen or /player with their names for my own curiosity & well nope, they aren't active players - other then popping on & quickly leaving again :(

Maybe even if they were to go back to chat mods or something similar? Then have them earn their way back up to moderator status again if they become active players again.

And too, what whimsy says is true, sometimes we need more mods on - I have even seen the ones on become overwhelmed with stuff all at once.  it was for brief moments and was all taken care of sure, no one is failing so don't get me wrong, but I do think sometimes they could use some extra help as well.  Many of us regular players try our best to help out too.

Hi Meri!

How are you doing?  I miss you! Hope you are doing well?

I should be back more myself.

Did you get the gaming keypad thingy to work? How is it?

I have a friend that has a nerve cancer & arthritis & other ailments...he can't type & we mostly only talk in skype or another voice system like teamspeak, ventrilo, discord etc.  He does like to play games still & he doesn't want to stop all that, especially since he can't really go out - gaming is his only social contact really.

Sometimes he uses some sort of robotic/sensored glove to game and chat. He just has to move his fingers a little bit & there are sensors in the glove that allows him to tap and it will do things he set up.  I can try to contact him & find out more about it if you like? I think it was kind of spendy though? - I actually don't know where he got it, it might have even been a kickstarter campaign thing or something. I know some things are in the process of being created & made more available to the public.

He also uses a typing stick/typing aid thingy that slides over his palm & secures with velcro and has a thingy with a rubber end that is used to push down on the keys.  He has very limited motion in his fingers so this enables him to still push the keys & chat.  Of course, he can't really type fast with it, but its ok, its still all good since most of us understand & are patient.

Hopefully you are able to get that thingy to work & it will help you some.

Anyways, wanted to say hi - been thinking of you! <3

Hi everyone!

I am sooo sorry for my absence.  Real life has been very busy!

My daughter had her first child on Sunday night.  It was quite the ordeal.  She had a very long, troubled labor that ended in an emergency C Section.  It was rather scary as things got a bit complicated - at one point my daughter's & the baby's heart rates and blood pressures plummeted.  Thus ending up in the emergency C Section.

Long story short - all is well now.  My daughter & her baby are fine now, and should be coming home from the hospital tomorrow.

I am still working lots, was doing 50-70 hr work weeks through all this & we had company/family from out of town too - just a lot going on.

Anyways, here are some pictures of my new grandson.  His name is Nikolai Finn - we call him Niko for short.  <3

The first picture is when he was just born, he was looking at his daddy for the first time.  The second was last night, he was sleeping when I went to visit him at the hospital.

I miss you all & I should be back very soon!  <3

Noobstown General / Busy Busy Busy!
« on: 3 May 2016, 17:40:13 »
Hello Noobstown!

I just wanted to say quickly that I am sorry - I been away the past few days or so.  Currently things with me are crazy busy!

Most of you that I chat with regularly know I am going to be a first time grandma very soon.  No baby yet, but could be anytime in the next two weeks or so!  Very soon little Niko (his full name is going to be Nikolai Finn) will be coming into the world! (I will keep you all posted!)

I have been working extra hours at work & trying to get as many hours as I can.  I been back to working 60hrs a week but also spending all my spare time with my family.  I am trying to have it so I can take a few days off when the baby comes.

I am very grateful & lucky as my immediate family is extremely close with each other.  We just all really have all been bonding more & spending more time together.  Really - solidifying our wee family bonds so we can all welcome our new family member without anyone in the family feeling left out or struggling with issues - we just want to try to make this as joyful & harmonious transition as possible. (we are also dealing with the fact that all these families/step families are all meeting face to face soon & we all been communicating more than we have in the past 20 yrs - that always leads to interesting times! lol)

It's also my sons grad & my daughter grad from college (but she missed the celebration due to her due date being the same & she's been very ill during this pregnancy) Both kids are going into college in the fall/winter so I have been helping them with tuition, books, getting ready etc - My daughter is taking refreshers for the winter/spring so when she's ready to go back to work she will be refreshed again.

It's amazing how you have to start planning & booking (and PAYING!) so far ahead.

Needless to say, with my work, the grads, college, and the baby coming - plus we had to redo the layout in our house & make room for baby - I am exhausted, and very broke, haha.(hence the working more hours!!)  We also had to plant our greenhouse/garden & do all our yard stuff.

You know, i was going to come on Saturday, but i was busy during the day out shopping & running errands, had plans for dinner then ended up running around & stuff till 11 pm when I got home - i was exhausted!  That's pretty much how every day has been!

I will be popping in here & there when I can. I probably won't be back to normal playing until after the baby comes & things get settled in my house - and I can find a routine again.

I <3 you all!

So, last night I went & got 12 inches of hair cut off.  Thought I was due for a change so I also dyed it as well.

Decided to post my new pics of my new do. (if I can do this right)

Congrats to Dadjaeger!

I have the same questions as Rose & Smurf... if we applied and are still interested in applying, do we update our applications? especially if they are way back a bit, are all the applications in the whole thread for active players still going to be considered?
