Oh wow, that's way more involved and detailed than I ever imagined haha. Actually being able to see each item and who sells what where... man, never expected that kind of thing.

It will definitely be helpful when it comes to finding things because it happens eeeevery time I have a project and lo and behold I don't have it stored and can't find it... now I can~

Been quite a while since I've been on and I have absolutely 0 knowledge on what shops even exist, let alone what might sell the things that I need. And I imagine it would be the same for any newbie who joins as well.

So, why not have some kind of player shop directory on the server? Kind of like a menu for it like the AH or the /shop. A player could pay a fee to be listed on the directory, along with a TP to their visit or their shop perhaps (perhaps the tp portion could be a higher fee to have as well). Some people have multiple possible shops, so potentially have more than one shop listing available for a person?

Along with that perhaps a way for people to list what they're selling in their shop. So like being able to pick whether you sell blocks, or ores, or farm things, or equipment/armor, etc. That would also allow a person to sort for what kind of items they're looking for.

Also suggesting because I can here.

Perhaps Prismarine Shard and Prismarine Crystal to be added to the shop in some form? You always end up with a surplus when you're grinding your weapon skills and I've had the Prismarine blocks for months trying to sell them.

The stuff just accumulates until you're throwing it away as it is.

I... really don't think they can re-implement the 'switching'. They would have to alter the MCMMO coding back to what it was, which could break things considering they're not the makers of the plugin. Plus, they may not even have the rights to alter it that far, it's a lot different than altering values that the creator is okay with you altering.

I don't think we want a repeat of what happened with Salvage to happen with Alchemy...

I'm curious, how are tome rates doing right now? I've heard that perhaps the tomes might be messed up drop-rate wise?? Like that the rarer tomes are dropping more often than the basic ones?

So, I'd love to see what your drop rates are! How much of each type have you gotten? Is there any imbalance that you can tell?

Since we have 10 days left before the tomes are over, if there are any issues it'd be good to figure them out before it's all over. Especially if we're going to have an event like this again!

So a big feature in towny is being able to toggle whether hostile mobs are able to spawn town-wide and for specific plots as well. However no such feature has been included in our wild chunks and I'd like to see if it would be possible to include this.

After all, if I'm at my home I don't really want to be getting attacked by mobs while I'm building or just going about putting away my items in my storage... which seems to happen no matter how lighted my house is, one single creeper will spawn in and blow up on me.

I'd probably suggest checking out Malwarebytes free version, system scanning on it is very good for dealing with lots of things. It's dealt with a few annoying viruses on my computer that I'd never heard of and that I couldn't get rid of any other way.

To be blunt we can't update unless everything would be safe to do so, which as Floris pointed out the admins here have no control over. They can't force updates, they can't make anyone do anything and in the meantime while we're waiting we have 1.7.

I know that I wouldn't want us to update if that means a week down the road we encounter some huge glitch between the various plugins we have which results in all our data being lost.

All towns. All money. All MCMMO levels. Lost. Gone.

So to be on the safe side I don't mind how long it takes, I can still enjoy 1.7 if it means that all my hard work is safe and not going to encounter a major error.

I imagine you're not the only one who is kind of annoyed about having to hunt down the mobs, I've heard other people mention it as well. I imagine once more arenas are released, like the default one perhaps, it might be less of an annoyance once there's a less 'mob searching' arena that people can choose to go to?

However it would be pretty interesting to see people's designs of what they would use as a Mob Arena. Kind of like the Chunk of the Month but on a more permanent basis.

I'm curious, would they be building it in creative single player? If so they'd need to get the save world to the admins. If they were doing it on the server it'd be hard for people to come up with all the materials that they would need for such a contest.

To be blunt the video didn't answer a single one of the questions Foob asked, you can't really expect him to know which world it was in, whether you checked any of your other chests, or whether they're locked using the lwc permissions from the video there.

You might want to describe a bit more of what's going on here besides just the video so Foob knows what might be wrong. Like, can you access the chest itself in your wild plot? Can you access any of your chests there? Can you destroy any of the other chests, so we know if it's just that one?

And also try GG's suggestion as well, since she's had this happen to her before and it may help solve your issue.

I'm afraid you must be mistaken on what the command was? The /unlock command only is used to unlock a password-protected chest. You'd have to have gone to every single chest you own and hit them after using the command.

There is of course the /cremoveall command, which will remove every single lwc protection that you have (In the town world, the wild world doesn't use that) however as you can see here it gives you full warning in even red text that it's going to remove every protection you have.



So I'm a little confused how all your chests are unlocked if you only used the /unlock command?

I hate to say it, but this is also why I'd double-check with the person or a member of staff after seeing the warning if it was the /cremoveall command that you used. :/

This is a cracking good post, I can bet we're all going to get boiled up in preparation for the colorfullness that is upon us for the week.

Our baskets will be full as we rush to get everything done and attend all the events, but don't hop around so much that you get exhausted! After all the festivities that are abound are eggtra likely to be more than a plateful already.

Let's keep our sunny side up attitudes and make sure we don't scramble during the events and I'm sure we'll get the most fun out of this bunnylicious holiday.

I definitely am guilty of not responding when I don't have anything the person wants, otherwise I kind of feel like I'm just spamming if I go "Nope, don't have that" or that I'm disappointing the person because I can't help them with what they want.

A lot of the time I get intently focused on what I'm doing, especially if I'm building or grinding a skill, and I don't even respond to my roommate trying to talk to me even when she's sitting on the couch beside me... Haha, so it's probably not that people are ignoring you!

Have you tried PMing your friends on the server? Usually if I'm really distracted I don't even read the chat as it pops up, but if it's a pinkish message like the PM does it gets my attention and makes me look at it. Could be the same for those people.

There's a limit on the amount of mobs that can be in a chunk to keep people from hoarding tons of passives.

The way that you breed is to have your breeders, two to a chunk, spaced out and then breed them, take the children somewhere else, and there you go.

The reason they're not breeding is probably because there's too many passives in the same chunk, which keeps them from producing more.

You can rename single items in anvils. I have no idea why you wouldn't be able to, why would they only allow you to rename only 2+ items?

I've renamed a pick, shovel, nametag, etc. You have to have the proper levels though or else it won't work on the server. Or you have to drop into 1.7 to do it. But it can absolutely be done.

As for buyer beware, if the paper was being sold at the same time as all the other papers a buyer could easily just get swept up in the rush that was going on, think it was a creeper pet, and go for it.

Even if the buyer should have looked at the item closer, not everyone may even know that it actually was a regular piece of paper, some people may not even realize that the papers were renamed or show up with a special name and therefore believed that even if it did say paper on the auction, when they received the item it would be the pet token.

So it's a matter of both ends here, depending on the situation.

To be blunt:

Not everyone checks the forum. Or if they did they may not have noticed it until after making the bid. Just because you make a post doesn't mean every person on the server is going to automatically know that you made the post or look at it before doing anything else.

So yeah, just because you said it doesn't mean the person who bidded saw it.

I wasn't sure which item actually considers itself as 'planted' when it comes to planting them down. Since it may be different. Netherwart is actually Nether Stalk when it comes to the chest shops, so it may be different when it comes to this ID list. Figured it was better safe than sorry when it came to carrots. :P

I've taken Pumpkin and Melon seeds out of the list then. People shouldn't be able to itemuse anyway to wash them off the ground.

So today I've found out that glowstone is on the list of things that people can break on a wilds plot... uh... that's a bit of a bad thing. In addition to the ID list that needs to be added it should also make sure that nothing but farmable things, crops and trees, should be on the list.

Glowstone, ID of 89, needs removed from the list.
