I was also thinking high numbers, but this shouldn't benefit only people that have played for awhile and only do mining, or one of the activities. I did 500 to make a balance.

Lol yeah the blazes might be a bit concerning. Although I do feel that if you could get a silk touch, brave the nether, and mine a spawner in a fortress surrounded by blazes hopefully you wouldnt put it out in the open. Maybe there can be some standards?
1. Mobs can only spawn in the chunk the spawner is placed. (Spawned mobs I mean)
2. Need at least 500 mining and 500 swords to mine a spawner.
3.The spawned mobs give no mcmmo? Idk about this one. I personally would prefer it to but idk

I dont think you realize that this server is ran solely off or Larry. While events would be nice, we get one every few months with the seasonal events. Out of all the things you said, mini games are the only "admin" required ones.

For example, any of us can respawn the ender dragon. Lots of us have crystals. Any person on the sever can have a drop party, town x and lunar falls combined last year for a huge one at a fishing event. And for mini games, even that isn't terrible for players. You can make mazes, pvp, etc. This isnt the admins fault at all, they work insanely hard doing what they do. We can pitch in and host our own events if its needed so much. Ik that whenever I try running an event like fishing or mining a desert or doing a drop party, theres only a few people online so it feels like a waste of time.

Edit: Larry has previously stated that if someone hits 4k in all or most skills he would raise it, since theres always another skill to grind.

I think it'd be nice, but imo, not to high on a priority unless its simple. While it would definitely be nice to have it, I feel it wouldn't be the best use of time, but thats just my two cents.

I'm sure its been mentioned before, but I really wish that we could mine monster spawners with silk touch. Yes, we can farm them better that way, but it also really benefits the whole community then. That way, were not stuck spending 3 mil+ to get a spawner that is mediocre, because most passive mob drops aren't really amazing. (Squid is an exception, but they take forever.) The monster spawners we can mine would be hostile, since those are the "real" ones. A lot of the spawners aren't amazing as it is, I just feel it'd be nice to be able to move them into one area, creating a better "dark room" in a way. The best mob drop, imo is from skeletons, spiders, and blazes. Tnt isnt enabled, meaning creepers aren't amazing, zombies drop every day farming materials so not amazing, etc. Spiders get string and eyes, which isn't great but still. Skeletons give bones, which are actually good, and blazes give blaze powder. Just my two cents.

End cities are randomly generated, so you aren't guaranteed to find any on the route that you are going. Also I'm pretty sure there's a 1,000 x 1,000 area around where the dragon is where end cities can't spawn, so don't look around there.
I've got a shulker box full of elytras :P so if you want I can /gift you some to help you find some cities. :P

Is that including respawned enderdragons?

Duration of rocket definitely is related. Of course finding an end city should be difficult, it gives some of the best loot in the game. Chance of diamonds, electra if u find a ship, shulker boxes, dragon heads(useless but look cool). Those tricks were to help you save your electra because it definitely takes a lot of flying.

I think they're fine. It keeps the loot rareish meaning it cycles through ah. What were you trying to find? I'd be done to sell it to you :P. On a more serious note, I fly in one direction, and change the player perspective. When the players feet start kicking your rocket boost ran out, and I let it glide for a bit after that before using another rocket. Try u3 on it as well. This will keep your elyctra alive for awhile.

Never noticed. I was trying to edit a post about my town to keep it current and not make multiple on the forums. Other than keeping the forums cleanish I don't see a reason to change it. I was just curious.

I see what you mean Diamond, but those are limited and require a lot more work. To get top of top, you need top in more than just one section, which is being suggested by u5 in certain areas. With events, those are only for what? A month? And most of those are the harder items to obtain and require lots of time put in. I personally don't want this becoming like a faction server where loads of items have huge unbreaking and sharp etc. Like you mentioned, mending is already in the game, so I dont see why this is necessary. Would much rather an update to pets or horses or something.
(Edit: Or 1.13 :P. I know its based on the paper client but still. May as well throw it out there.)

I dont think theres even U4 in the game yet. At least one that actually works. If you want, I can give you a U9, but it just turns into a U3 like everything else. While this sounds nice, I'm not sure making stuff that OP (even u3 is hard to break tools and stuff, other than elyctra) would be good, because it just widens the gap between new and old players.

I agree again with citebafla. Because of last years event I discovered towns that had active mayors that I didn't even know were real towns. (That's confusing to say). I really enjoyed going town to town. I dont know if others have noticed but like citebafla also pointed out, mods and the admin are really the only ones saying good things about this advent. There are a few others but not much compared to those who say not.

Minecraft is one of the few games I actually keep sound on for, and in no way does it help get the gifts, at least for me. Yeah, were not entitled to the gifts, but like I previously mentioned, needing mods for a game event doesnt seem efficient at all. While the town is sort of small, there are lot of smaller places. Maybe let elycrta work? It is horrible walking around there to every building looking for a chest.

I appreciate your honest feedback, I'm sorry you're not enjoying it as much as previous years. I've tried to mix things up a little each year more recently; making changes and giving things a try.

This year I do agree there is a little more work involved in finding the chests, but it's not too much effort; all you need to do is go around the shops and other buildings in the town and look for the chests. All of them are in clear spots in/near the buildings and should stand out with the floating text above them, plus the one for the current day is clearly labelled as such with "TODAY" which should make it even simpler. I don't think putting in a few minutes of looking around is too much to ask, it's a reward for those who are willing to take part and spend time doing so, you can choose to take part in the activities by looking for them and accept the free items if you want to.

Yeah they might be clear, but this build is huge. (In reality its not very clear). I also agree that needing mods to make it easily identifiable is not good planning. Day 2s chest was in the swim area, 4 rooms back. That is not very obvious, and in no way is it a few minutes. And by clearly labeled do you mean removing one line and changing a word? I look in, and I  see something like "next chest opens tomorrow. Time until (insert number)." That in itself is not very clear, and then switching from time left to "click to open" and the "next chest" to "Today" does not make is clear at all. Im willing to take part, but for the time I'm spending looking for that chest, I could mine clay and make 100k, and I do not see 100k being given out in these gifts right now. I love noobmas, but logging on daily was stressful enough to get the reward at the end, but then the chests being really hard to find? I just gave up. To be completely honest, I loved last years. I loved seeing towns that I never knew existed, and checking out some awesome builds there. Thats just my 2 cents though. I love new things as much as the next person, but if something doesn't work then isn't change necessary? Theres been posts by 4 different people on this thread, who don't agree with how its being run. I know theres been more on the server in total. If somethings not broken, don't fix it.
