Just a small change...

When we post a new announcement on the site (just like this topic) if you don't read it we'll now let you know every so often in-game that it was made! Once every hour in-game we'll send you a short reminder that there are announcements you haven't read yet; it's that simple!

This should be great for those who don't often visit the site as you'll now know exactly when important new announcements have been posted, and it will allow you to easily keep up-to-date with changes that are happening! This feature might even be expanded on in the future to show more information about exactly what was posted, but for now it's just to let you know to check the site!

I hope you like this change, but as always if you have any feedback good or bad on this or have any questions too please post them.

Yes, this announcement announcing the addition of the server's new ability to announce announcements regarding recent forum announcements was very well thought out and a great new announcement feature.

While this is certainly good news, some people might prefer just a simple ./mail sent to them automatically.. also does it send it every hour untill you look?
