As you may already know, Minecraft 1.2 was released today (http://www.mojang.com/2012/03/minecraft-1-2-is-out/ (http://www.mojang.com/2012/03/minecraft-1-2-is-out/)).
As per normal we recommend that if you want to continue playing Noobstown while we wait for the stable release of Bukkit, you decline the update; or backup the 1.1 version so that you can go back to it for the server!
We will be converting to the latest version of Bukkit which is suitable for 1.2 as soon as we can do. Do not update until this point! (We will post once we have updated the server!)

Sucks for me, updated by a mistake cause i did not think of the server for 1 sec -_- any idea how to get back to 1.1 maybe ?
-
I can`t promise that it will work for you (so you better make a backup of the .jar files before trying).
[Win7] Go to the .minecraft/bin folder. Then make a copy of minecraft-1.1.jar and rename it minecraft.jar (replacing the actual minecraft.jar).

Any more updates on the 1.2 version of the server? As in the map and store prices and what not?

If anyone needs/wants a copy of the MC 1.1 jar I can get a copy to you. I've been backing up all of my jars, modded and unmodded, since 1.7.3 beta. :D

I WANT TO GO ON NOOBSTOWN!!!!!!!! :israphel:

You already might have the "minecraft-1.1.jar" in your ".minecraft/bin" folder (with Win7 it`s normally under C:/user/username/appdata/roaming/.minecraft/bin). I never made the backup but nevertheless had that backup file included in my folder, so it either came with the game itself or was created by the mcpatcher.
To downgrade you might try to replace your minecraft.jar with the minecraft-1.1.jar by renaming that file (but don`t forget to make a backup first).

how long is it gonna take to update the server?
-
Hey everybody!
I saw everyone was in need of a 1.1 .jar file, so i thought i would post a MediaFire link to the most recent updated version. The download link is here: LINK REMOVED
I hope i could help! and if i did, please take a quick moment to hit that "respect" button over to the left.
Peace!

For anyone on this topic who has not seen the most recent server announcement, it wil take 1-3 days for the server to be ready to update.
