Hey!

As a big thank you to all those that have supported us over the years and helped us grow to this giant milestone of 40,000 members we're giving away 30 bunny pets for free! Once all 30 have been claimed we'll be auctioning an additional 4 Bunnies on the in-game /ah

How to claim a bunny?

Simply reply to this thread include your in-game name and most memorable Noobstown moment event/competition/town/friend whatever it may be, we'd like to hear it!

Our favourite memorable moment will win an additional 400,000 Noobz on top of their free bunny.

Memorable event: Mt first noobstwon event was a drop party. I got lots of loot that i still have today. That drop party is where i first met some of my best friends on the server such as Halcyon13 and SwiftLegacyGT. That was the day i realized this server was perfect for me.

Just Yesterday when I invited everyone out for a fishing party. I soon realized my fishing ponds were not big enough to hold everyone that wanted to come fish. Even for the tight fit we all managed to have a great time and level up our fishing and other skills. Aside from that I would say building the new Gallifrey has been a blast.

Memory #1: I also remember the server being there for me when I was going through a really difficult time with my mom's health. The server was a really great distraction from the crud that was going on at the time. So many wonderful people, also were there for me and it just really meant a lot to me knowing so many people seems to really care about me and my life. Some of the best friends I'll ever have have been through this server.

Memory #2: getting to know fluffykitten2007. She's become like a little sister to me and I'm quite proud of the accomplishments she's made in school and on the server. It's been such a joy getting to know her and the whole Crafty family. They're really wonderful people and I'm thankful to the server for allowing me the chance to get to know them.

Thanks for everything you 3 do as admins. You 3 work really hard and I'm so honored to be apart of something that focuses on it's players and doing the right thing/playing fair/having fun. I can't wait to see where the server goes and how many more friends/memories/opportunities are made.

A long time ago, in a Galaxy far far away, there was a man named Waterworth.....Etc etc etc cut to the chase. He has a long-lost brother by the name of SmurfStompa who he refused to believe was real, until he came face to face with this man.
Basically he acknowledged me as his Long-lost brother, and from then on there has been a special bond. Like a proud father taking his son to football practice...Except there's no son.....no father....and no football! >:(

Oh also when I was promoted to TA or Skyside but that was V5.

Memorable Moment: When I first started playing back at the end of Version 1. Yes, version 1 (4 years ago :D). I couldn't talk in chat and had no idea how to do anything. Foob was online and he helped me get started with the chat, while I was trying to take shelter in an abandoned little shed thing. Ever since then, I've been memorizing commands and learning more about the server so I can help others just like he did! Probably one of my favourite moments. <3

As a player who has been on for over 3 years, I've had plenty of memorable moments playing on the server. Most of my moments have been lived on the Team Speak, which is the way to talk to anyone who is on noobs. As many people who have been on team speak knows, I am a very talkative and loud (and even sometimes obnoxious). But that hasn't been the case in the beginning.

The Awakening
Three years ago I join my first multiplayer server, this server to be exact. I haven't owned minecraft for long, maybe for a week, so i was relatively new to all that is minecraft. I wasn't sure what to do so I did the impossible for guests, I read the signs at guest spawn. I wasn't to sure if I wanted to sign up (back then i was just starting to use the computer so i did like to give out e-mails) so I logged out. two days later I finally decided to sign up and become a member, That day was June 12 2012.

The Noob
I started collecting things from the mining world moments after, and set up base in a jungle not too far from spawn( at the time i didn't know the mining world reset every month). I mined, chop trees and did whatever newbies did for the first week. Since there was a lack of animals in the jungle i had to get food by fishing. Then I noticed that i gained levels of some sort from it. So i did it more and more. That's what started my addiction to fishing.

The Spawn
I decided to be "social" and started fishing at spawn. I would see and talk to some people but nothing too extraordinary. this went on for a couple days until i met him. His name was jaakmonkey, a Town assistant for the town of Maple Forge. he invited me to his town and of course i said yes(due to me bumming in the mining world)

The First Word
I soon came accustomed to the towny system and everything that came with it. My interest with the server grew so i bought points to gain VIP (VIP during V5 was like a subscription and could not be bought for forever). the as I got closer to the town and all the assistants i was invited to talk to jaakmonkey on a different service that wasn't TS. That is the first time I spoke to anyone on the internet that i didn't know.

The Mob Arena
Later in the summer Mob Arena was introduced and the whole server was excited. there was at least 20 people playing mob arena at the time, it was crazy. Then people in chat were asking people to come on TS to chat during mob arena. I wanted to join but i was a bit hesitant talking to random people, But evently i gained the courage to join and the rest is history.

I first met her in V5 and I was in pre:k i wanted to know how to read so I could read her posts. :) She has been so nice to me and the whole server. This year she sent me 2 packages. it had earings, a new backpack for 2nd grade, and other stuff. She is one of my most favorites on the server. the whole server is my friend. :) She and the whole server are my friend. Everyone is my friend on the server! Noobstown is the best server I have ever played. :) My whole family plays the server. :)

Well, this account is new but I did have another account that I played on for awhile. On that account I had a lot of fun hanging with people and meeting people. My most memorable moments though are seeing the different towns and building a MA, although I didn't win it was a lot of fun, thank you.

Noobstown really helped me out when I was down. I met some very cool people who helped me out immediately. There is a real sense of family on this server.

My favorite memories involve the helpful mods and how they have never made me feel lousy about needing their assistance. They cannot be beat.

My most memorable moment was when our 7 year old daughter we all know and love, Fluffykitten2007 joined the server on November 16, 2014. The moment she joined she received the most loving and warmest welcome from everyone on the server. I was very moved and actually got teary eyed at the welcome that she received. She made a comment in chat "I don't have any noobs." Well with that everyone was donating noobs and items to get her started. Within 10 minutes she had like 350k. In the first 10 minutes she had more money than Bamagirl365 had. Lol. That among many other reasons is why I love Noobstown. This is such a closely knit community where everyone seems to genuinely care for each other and its just not for show.

My most favorite person, and I have several, is who we love to call "our GG". She is like a daughter to me. I have watched her and Fluffykitten develop this wonderful relationship since the end of V5. Gg has genuinely loved and encouraged Fluffykitten to do the best she possibly can in every aspect of her life. Because of this wonderful realationship Fluffykitten finished up 1st grade reading on a 4th grade reading level and finishing up in the top 1% of students nationally in her grade. I feel that gg was a integral part of that because when Fluffykitten was in pre-k she wanted to learn how to read to read the posts from gg to her when craftymatt13 was playing on V5. I also feel very honored to be a part of the staff team and helping to make Noobstown a wonderful place where people of all ages can play, meet a wonderful community of people and most of all, have fun.

I then met a friend which does not really play anymore and miss him, His name is UmmFredFelizco, He took me into tortuga and fixed me into a house got me sorted with tools and that is my best and fondest memory because if it wouldn't of been for that one person making a mark on my experience on the server, I wouldn't know people like Sirzavala, Demonicallysouled, All the Crafty's, Brony1994, Tweekstweek and MANY others.

I know this is gonna sound really corny but I love you all and you made such a change in my life with all of your advice and support!!

One day in v6 there was a fishing party. It was one with around 8 people and was just made because we were all pretty bored. It was held in a mining world desert and it was just a small pool. Then we started to customise the small pool and made it look fancy. After a while Lawrence appeared for some reason and was flying around watching us. After around 15 minutes Foob appears. Him and Lawrence fly out into the desert about 70 blocks away from us. They stood there and suddenly Foob and Lawrence whip out sticks. Next thing I know it, Foob is riding a wither throwing fireballs from a stick and Lawrence is riding an enderdragon while spamming fireballs too. This by far was the craziest moment I've had in noobscraft and id like to see the admins have another epic battle someday :D

My favorite memories have been Noobmas2014, and easter2015.
I loved doing the egg hunt during easter and getting to go from town to town as a community to get easter items from the dragon eggs. I also loved christmas and the anticipation everyday for new advent chest. Doing the holiday crackers was fun also, i feel these events bring noobscraft closer as a community and i love that.

I remember my first time I joined a town. I had only been on the server for a few months. Everyone was so nice to me, but I still felt a little lonely. I wanted to make sure I found a nice spot for my wild and at the time I didn't know you could have a wild and be in a town. I was a bit afraid to talk to anyone but I knew what I had to do for my own wild plots, so I guess I just was focused on that. See, the issue is that I am very friendly but also a bit shy and for me first impressions are important. So I stuck to my wild and for a while. I met thecberry because he lived so close to me, and Blackrosemom964 helped me out with leather. Still I was missing something. I had visited Skyside, Tortuga, Pallettown, and Shangri-la. All seemed so beautiful, but I couldn't join most freely and I only really knew Blackrosemom from Pallettown. That's when I met Gamergirlxo. She seemed wierd at first, all gigglie and bubblie, but it was nice. She showed me a place called Windermere. I was nice looking and very uniform-like. I felt like I had to wear a tuxedo lol, and that's when it happened. as Gamer talked and talked away I began to feel something. Images of a familiar place flashed through my head and an old sense of warmth came over me. It was nice, it was comfortable, and I thought perhaps it was home. Gamergirlxo talked so much but I guess that's what I needed. So I joined the town, and me and Gamer became good friends. I know it seems so dramatic but for me, I had found a great town, in a server that was perfect for me, on a game that I loved, with a mayor who would become my friend forever. My favorite moment is not that day, but it is right now. I never really thought about it much but, I feel I can exhale, because I am a chatMod for a great server among an awesome staff with the best 40k members lol, Co-mayor for an awesome town, and friend to a great gal. Thank you Noobstown for being an experience and memory I will never forget.

memorable moment: a few years back, I think it was a summer event as well. Playing a mini game of PVP. I was one of the last 2 alive. AQW yelling from the stands "Come on Giga do Bushido Proud" - I actually think I won that round! LOL

Oh I am so glad I saw this before we leave for camping (my bf is packed up waiting for me! haha)

I love this server, and well I am new here, and even in my short time I have some memorable moments, but my most memorable event has been the fishing tourney in Windermere a few weeks ago. I just started, and didn't know anyone, and even though I didn't have a fishing pole and had a zero fishing skill & I didn't really know anyone at all, everyone was so welcoming. It was fun, and I loved seeing everyone together having fun & fishing that was one of the moments that made me make my decision to call this server my "home".

After joining, I have been welcomed by so many here that have helped me - it's great to see. Tweekstweek showed me a bit about the server, took me on a few explorations, helped get me set up with some stuff, he showed me the Wilds & set me up with my plot & got me started....I am now addicted & loving working on my wilds home.

Ethereal has been very welcoming & helpful to me, Eboniics & ecctv have been fabulous. I have really been enjoying it there. The town has really helped me out since I started here on this server last month with nothing.

Gamergirl has been really helpful & patient with me, answering all my questions when I first started. She really made me feel welcome on the server during my first nights.

Mrfloris has shown me some of the museum & history of towns & the server - I really enjoyed that! I appreciate his help, tips & advice!

The members & staff of this community are great, mostly always answering questions, helping lend a hand, offer to party up with you, offering to repair items (even for free - Thanks Fatherbot & Hexidecima for helping me yesterday!!) and they will always lend a hand or offer advice when needed. I could list thanks but there are too many to name, and I know I will forget some people since I am in a rush.

I am glad to be on this server & that I found you all - Thanks so much! :)

My most memorable experience was the night I spent up in a tree after claiming a plot of land in the middle of jungle biome. I spent the previous night hiding out in someone else's plots from the mobs. I eventually built me a small place up in a tree and it's still there, just added on to.

But that long night listening to the throng of zombies underneath me moaning and groaning is still memorable.

My most memorable moment was probably in the beginning of V6 when my friends and I finally amassed enough money to create Utopia, and although I haven't played as much recently, I would like very much to get back into playing and continuing to build the town and create a great experience for the town members and everyone on the server :)

I wasn't on until the week or 2 after v6 actually opened. But I remember the day it did open. It was opening day. My parents, Crafty13 and MamaOH, Fluffykitten and I were anxiously waiting for v6 to open. I had the countdown clock counting down the time on my tv. Crafty13was at work and MamaOH had stuff to do before it opened. I was shouting 5 minutes..... 4 minutes.... 3...2minutes and telling mom to hurry and calling dad. Crafty13 got home with 1 minute to spare and MamaOH finshed her stuff with 1 minute to spare. Then the countdown clock hit 0 and v6 opened and I knew that soon enough I would be joining this great Noobstown family and make some great friends, GG, Hexi, Gaimmode, Swiftlegacy and many others. That is my memorable moment!

Memorable Moment: I was thinking about this for a while; I feel like every moment on Noobstown is memorable. That's probably why I spend a fairly large amount of the day online.
The moment I chose in the end is an old one, well relatively old. A while back while I was giving a member the tour of the town I'm Co-Mayor of, Wintersbreath, a VIP called Countdown180 decided to play a visit. In secret.
He was basically stalking me using the /jump command. It was rather amusing, and I guess he got the tour too, right?
This little game was repeated a couple of times before Count decided to turn it into a PvP session; I had to try and kill him.
I actually managed it in the end, knocking him within an inch of his life before watching him fall off the "Ice Warrior", a statue in Wintersbreath which has now actually been torn down and replaced with a copy of "Gandalf the Snow".
I received a Wither Skull from those events (thanks for that, Count), which I have now promptly lost, but that's not the point.

My favorite moment would have to be the day I got my fiance to start playing. I totally got to geek it up by showing her all the stuff I had built and all the neat little things you could do with the redstone. I took her on a tour of all the amazing cities and what everyone had built. The look on her face when I showed her a little heart shaped building I had built for her. (I know I know puke city:P ) She liked all the stuff you could do so much that she wanted to start playing the game with me. I'll never forget that day :)

One of my most memorable moments that I was able to have was the first day that I joined the server. I had gone through the welcome or noobstown information intro that's provided to all whom wished to read the signs. I then asked in chat if I could join a town, it must have been a slow day or something, because nobody really replied to my post until a few minutes later. His name is mgcven, he is a resident of Gallifrey and introduced me to the town. He told me the mayor of the town Mprint would be on soon and that he could sell me a plot in the town. Gallifrey was smaller then than it is now, but somehow mgcven still found it in his busy schedule to give me a very interesting tour of the town. I found Gallifrey to my liking and after becoming a member I was invited to the town my Mprint. I joined Gallifrey and haven't strayed from my oath to not betraying the town which got me started by never leaving it to join a different town.

I will always remember how I was invited into this server and have made long lasting friends and companions that I wil always remember.

My most memorable experience was actually when i first joined. I had been going from server to server, always turning back either disgusted at the language/hacks that were allowed or disappointed with the pluggins/broken economy. When i was shown to Noobstown by a friend of mine, I was in for a pleasant surprise. The moderation staff and players were great, the pluggins were easy to figure out, and the economy was actually NOT broken!

Through Noobstown, i have made many friends and good memories.
