UPDATE 2: We're back online now! You can find out about what's changed here (https://www.noobscraft.com/server/we-re-back-with-updates/msg87692/#msg87692).
UPDATE: As planned we have now gone down for maintenance! There will be a post once the server is back online!
Just a quick post to let you know that the Noobstown.com server will be down for a period this coming Saturday (24th) from around 9am BST (what's that in my timezone? (https://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/fixedtime.html?msg=Noobstown.com+Server+Maintenance&iso=20160924T09&p1=136)). There is no estimate of how long this downtime might last, but I will definitely put up a post on the site here once we're back!
This is hopefully going to be last major downtime for maintenance we have for quite sometime. It's to add in some of the final planned changes (https://www.noobscraft.com/server/what-s-coming-to-noobstown-an-update/msg86905/#msg86905) from the Summer. This includes all of the different Wilderness changes including:
- A command to check how many free chunks you've got available to claim (https://www.noobscraft.com/work/full/free-land-command/),
- Sponges in the Wilderness (https://www.noobscraft.com/work/full/sponges/),
- Slime blocks with pistons in the Wilderness (https://www.noobscraft.com/work/full/slime-block-pistons/),
- Plus loads of general fixes and adjustments to hopefully make the /wild commands easier to use, (https://www.noobscraft.com/work/full/update-wilderness/)
- Some of the final preparations to allow for name changing (https://www.noobscraft.com/work/full/name-changing/) nearer the end of this month
Plus minor updates to a number of the smaller systems we use. A full list of the more important changes will be included in the post once we're open again :).
I understand the potential annoyance of this downtime but I will try to work as fast as possible and it is to add in improvements that you'll hopefully enjoy once we're back up again! Plus our TeamSpeak server (https://www.noobscraft.com/ts/) and this site will still be up during the server downtime.
