Halloween Update Information + Competition (Read 10749 times)

Hey all,

I hope you are all doing well and enjoying October, eating plenty of candy and dressing up for the occasion. We are again sorry that Noobween will not be shared properly in the community this year, and we will
work to ensure our next big event; Noobmas, is an extra special experience!

I just wanted to write a quick update so you don't feel out of the loop!

1.7 was a huge milestone for Mojang and a lot of their code has changed, this has resulted in delays with Bukkit because they have to catch up on all those changes. I'm sure they are working as fast and efficiently as possible, but for now we are waiting patiently for the release of a 1.7 build. Once released, we can prepare for our v6 launch (finally!).

Later today, or possibly tomorrow there will be a video released giving you a run-down of the all-new Auction system in v6. The Auction is one of the most exciting features of v6, as it gives the community a fantastic tool to create a stable trading environment. Not only this, but you can manage trading on and off the server... so, you don't even need to login to check if your items are selling!

We are excited to share the new server with you all, after months and months of development it literally feels like a life-time since things were normal here at Noobstown. Anyway, we do hope you all have a wonderful Halloween and don't try to miss us too much.

This is a skin of my halloween hobo. It isn't my skin right now because I don't have my current skin to keep for replacement. I hope you enjoy the little scare!

I guess I will just post my Halloween skin that I really like, it was made by Tidal so I hope that doesn't get me disqualified, but if I do end up winning I will give the price to Tidal, cause she did make the skin, so she is the one that deserves the price... right?

Heres mine, It is my old skin but i changed the colors made the face scary and added a gree tie, hope you like it:)

I also added my regular one so you can see the difference.

You want to see the scariest skin ever?. This skin still scares me to today. I mean just look at it that big F, the overalls. It just gives me the shivers. Anyways i call this skin "The Noob of terror".

I just put the skin into http://www.minershoes.com/editor and took a screenshot (NO I did not use the editor to make the skin. That thing is too hard to use)

This is a little thing I whipped up just now, scariest thing I could make on short notice.

I don't really know how to make a sufficiently scary weeping angel.

It is supposed to be a hunter of the undead who has himself become an undead.
He was sneaking around in Slender Man's vacation home and he got killed and possessed by the ghost of C. Robert Cheetos III, heir to the Cheetos fortune.

You can use the print screen button (above the backspace I think) and then paste it into a program like paint and just save it.

Here is a picture of me wearing my super scary costume. I tried to go trick or treating earlier wearing this, but all the villagers refused to open their doors. Dejected and returning home candyless, I stumbled upon a creeper who immediately exploded at the mere sight of me wearing this terrifying get-up.

My Halloween costume.
On my way home trick or treating, a skeleton named ''Chucky'' shot me in my head with his bow and arrow. I started to get dizzy, tons of redstone was pouring out my head. they was a puddle of redstone from where the skeleton got me. I slipped over it. Then a Creeper blown up as soon as I tried to get up, and my eyes melted by the massive explosion. A zombie bite me after the creeper exploded, So I turned into a undead half zombie human dj.

Ctrl+Print Screen will copy your current screen. Then you can paste it into paint, photoshop, whatever else.

Shouldn't entering skins that are just picked from a skin site be against the rules? You should really only enter unique skins that you either created yourself, edited to make it special, or got created for you only, not a skin you found on Planetminecraft or other skin sites.

That is just my opinion.
