Title: Happy 4th Birthday Noobstown!

Hey all,

As you may be aware today is Noobstown's 4th Birthday! - We're extremely excited to celebrate Noobstown's 4 year Birthday with the entire community this weekend - We currently have a x3 Exp Mcmmo event going on right now, which will last up until Midnight.

Our Special Gift for the Birthday is: Mob Arena!

Yes, one of our most popular game types will be returning this very weekend! - So be sure to join us during the Party Events for the first ever Mob Arena in v6 'Cake'

How did you find us?: PMC, browsing for family friendly survival servers.
Most fondest memory inside the server?: Building my /home with my friends, such as Mistic_Ice, FumbleHead, etc.

Favourite Event?: version 5 fishing party with everybody, admins flying players, foob with kitty canon.

What you love about the server: Family friendly, all ages.
Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell: Once upon a time there was a little Steve who mounted his saddled pig and rode around version 5's wilderness, exploring caves, finding friends, building huts to stay safe at night, gather resources for the backpack. Until one day he was able to settle down in a little house on a hill, overlooking the ocean with floating islands and wilderness beacons, light houses and friends that visit. The sun going under were wonderful evenings, fishing in the dawn of the day gave peace, and expanding the builds while the sun was out during the day brought friends closer together. Dragon eggs .. everywhere .. until one dark day it was all taken away, replaced by the elders, with hope of a better world.

How did you find us?: Friend suggested me the server.
Most fondest moment inside the server?: Getting a staff for my town.
Favorite friend(s)?: I have many to name, so I'll just come with a list:
huntfulton, leigh5556, Randoperson, pidgeot72, jonesnatjac1234, Halcyon13, Katrine98, Xavier1964, brony1994 and SmurfStompa... I can name so many more but that'll have to be enough.
Favorite town?: Futuria, my own town.
Favorite event: The weekend events back in V5.
Favorite season?: Noobmas for sure.
What you love about the server: Everything. The supporting community, the staff team (admins included), the awesome plugins and the huge variety of things to do.
Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell: I started my journey in November 2012 and was new to the community. I felt so weird being around these players that I've never seen. But slowly, I adapted because of the server's community's welcoming behavior. There are some people to mention to give credit to my success, but I won't name any since I find it a bit unfair to others. I now run a town, Futuria, with 24 residents including me, and my staff team is doing a wonderful job helping me with the town.
I couldn't come this far without the community, so thanks a LOT.

And last but not least, Happy Birthday NoobsTown! :)

Most fondest moment inside the server?: building John Deere tractors with my son
Favorite friend?: If I don't say DadJaeger I know that I will be in trouble!
Favorite town?: Bushido and Shangri-La (again for the reason mentioned above LOL)
Favorite event: Noobmas - the advent calendar is so much fun
Favorite season?: Noobmas
What you love about the server: The individual worlds that are reset each month - e.g. mining world.  Nothing worse then the mining world, or any for that matter, being all eaten up, looking horrible etc
Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell: Making a ton of good friends from all over the world!

Most fondest memory inside the server?:one day there was a fishing party in the mining world, 10 people including me got together and made a giant pool, even though I'm not a big fishing fan, it was really fun talking to each other, suddenly foob appeared follow by lawerence, after a few minutes of watching us, they got bored and took out sticks, all of a sudden food was riding a wither shooting fire balls while lawerence running around trying to dodge the onslaught of fireballs

How did you find us?: I randomly found this server on planet minecraft and it really did appeal to me
Most fondest memory inside the server?: All the windups with Larry on Teamspeak, Foob saying happy birthday to me, Waterworth doing kitty cannon right under my nose (Sorry Water)
Favourite friend?: I can't begin to number them all off lets just say this is my family

What you love about the server: I love the way I can come on here and just forget about everything and everyone in my real world and can "Zone Out"

I joined this server back in 2012 and I didn't think I would fit in, By GOD was I wrong everyone welcomed me in so well and one of the people I have to commend for helping me get settled in is Ummfredfelizco and if it wasn't for him I wouldn't be here with all my noobly (Family).

How did you find us?: I was searching online for economy/towny servers
Most fondest memory inside the server?: Too many to recite...probably the time I became a TA in NOVA.
Favourite friend?: mrfloris, bowseat, countdown180, DadJaeger, and eboniics
Favourite Town?: v5: NOVA v6: Ethereal or x
Favourite Event?: MOB Arenas.

What you love about the server: The awesome community, helpful staff, and the in-depth chat conversations about random things like pi and gravity.
Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell: I used to have a Noobween Herobrine Shrine in the basement of my shop in NOVA. Customers could pay $10 each to see Herobrine. Btw, I would have put my 3 page story, Fravaho: A History, but it is 3 pages long...... Also, one time, I had a full on noob style cobblestone AND dirt box home.

Most fondest memory inside the server?: There's way too many to think of. I think the cheesiest thing I can come up with that is also true is the wonderful friends I've made through this server. Some of my best friends have come from this server and I think that's the best memory I could think of.
Favourite friend?: Waterworth. Dadjaeger (don't let him read this), Warriorben, the crafty's, GaimMode, Hexidecima, General_Gred....the list could go on and on.
Favourite Town?: I mean, Windermere, my town of course but besides my town I'd say....Caprica.
Favourite Event?: Probably Spleef.
Favourite Season (Noobween, Noobentines, Noobmas.. etc): Again, Noobmas. I love Christmas and the spirit on the server during that time is just wonderful.
What you love about the server: WHAT KIND OF QUESTION IS THIS!?!?!?!?! EVERYTHING, DUH! The staff, the family friendly environment, the wide range of ages, the fact that there's a little something for everyone. This server has become very near and dear to my heart and I've had the most amazing time on this server. I've been proud of the work I've seen from various players, the towns that have been created, the town that I've had the chance to create, the opportunity to become a staff member, etc. I could go on and on. I will stand by this server until the day it dies, which I hope is never. Thank you for to the admins and to the community for giving me such a great time and gameplay.
Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell: This past year for my birthday I think is something that needs to be made a mention of. I appreciated and felt so loved on my birthday. I was given a party, gifts, various "happy birthday's" and it meant a lot to me coming from so many wonderful friends.

Which version did you start?: December 30, 2012 V5 (Actually 29th but website says 30..time difference I see)
How did you find us?: An old offline friend and player on this server named Bexn told me how much fun he had on this server and gave me the ip so I came online the server and... the rest is history.
Most fondest memory inside the server?: When I learn their was a thing called Teamspeak so I joined and made friends like mrfloris, emmabear, globug, and Tomb_Vine and we started to play together. Then making a /home with mrfloris, and friends and that becoming my favorite place on the server to go to, even more now on V6 going back to V5 and just being there and looking at all the builds there.

Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell:

   There once was a lonely little ender girl traveling across the lands to find a place to call /home. She stumbled across an old looking castle with an open drawbridge. Timidly she cross the bridge to find a place called "NoobsTown". She explored the lands of this place and the people, trying to find a place to make her home.    
   
   Suddenly she bumps into a man by the name of "mrfloris" and he shows her around and introduces her to many new people. The lonely little ender girl does not feel alone anymore. With his help she was able to find a place to call her /home. Whenever you needed to find the little ender girl, all you had to do was go find her at her /home on her fishing dock.
   
   After many months of being here, there became warnings of a huge storm blooming up south of her place and that she need to evacuate her place or else she could get caught in the storm. But the little ender girl refused the orders, saying she loves the place to much to leave.
   
   On the night of the storm hitting her place, she gathered her few precious belongings and put them into a bookbag and went out onto her porch and sat in the old chair at the table.
      
      She sat and waited for the storm to hit.
      
      She sat knowing it will be the last she will see of this place for a very long time.
      
      She sat with her favorite baby dragon egg on her lap holding it close to her.
         
         She sat and cried...
         
   The storm hit her house, destroying everything in its path. The little ender girl was no where to be found. For months people search for her, but the only thing they could find was a single piece of paper at the remains of the house.
         
      The piece of paper had only one word written on it "why.."
         
   The little ender girl turned up many months later. At the new town spawn right in front of the newly built billboard. She was asleep. One traveling folk reconzies her and wakes her up. He smiles and ask her how she is. She stares at him with dead cold eyes and only says one word.. "why.."

How did you find us?:I was browsing through servers on a website and out of luck i found noobscraft and have been on this server ever since!
Most fondest memory inside the server?: My fondest memory would have to be when i started Ethereal in the summer and by the end of the year it was the biggest town on the server and i was so happy that I'm able to be apart of the server/community and its history. Also Being able to meet players that have become friends and staff in my town has been really fun (having these 2 residents join ethereal made me happy, cause they had these matching capes and seeing them around town would make me laugh, i would always say to my friend soukyx oh look the cape people are on lol,aka ecctv and brendend) and I'm glad i decided to start a town it helped me meet great people.
Favourite friend?:ecctv, soukyx, mrfloris, brendend, and so many more ppl i have gotten to know on this server
Favourite Town?:Ethereal
Favourite Event?: My favorite event is when there was a whole week of games and celebration in the summer where we played spleef, the cube , etc.

What you love about the server: I love the community and staff of this server and how people help each other  out and mostly all get along. Also i love that i make friends all the time!
Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell:  When i first decided to join Teamspeak i literally didn't talk till like 3 weeks later cause i was to chicken to say anything lol and when i decided to say hi everyone was so welcoming and nice/humorous. After that i knew that this server really had everything. And i also learned that my voice sounds weird through a microphone hahah :D  <3 . Also another great memory/story was playing Pvp with Essmonger.

Favourite Event?:Never been to one people awalys inconviently time them so i end up missing them

How did you find us?: friend from school by the name of ajhl49 introduced me to minecraft and this server!
Most fondest memory inside the server?: working on the town spawn and outpost for Forthwind
Favourite friend?: i don't really know if i have any "friends" on here, that i really talk to a lot :P
Favourite Town?: Forthwind! (and Townsville) (don't tell nebih)
Favourite Event?: the ones i don't have to be at work during!
Favourite Season (Noobween, Noobentines, Noobmas.. etc) Noobmas
What you love about the server: the community, and being able to just come online, dig stuff and talk about random stuff with random noobs
Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell: one time, angel_lord hit me with lightning and also gave me a stack of porkchops, and this was before food stacked. a stack of pork was quite convenient

another time i was talking with ajhl49 at school about making a forthwind arena, so he marked out an area, we decided against making it, and i just dug an 80x80 hole to bedrock because why not

i just remember logging on for one of the first times and looking for a town, Geoboy66 invited me to Entrolla, where I lived for about 15 minutes before moving to MorningWood and making a house that later burned down halfway

Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell: Although I still hate the stupid plot system, and the stupid anti-griefing stuff, I guess this is still a great server. I'm thankful for all the friends I've made and the people I've met. Thanks mrfloris for the VIP!

How did you find us?: The server was showcased on PMC
Most fondest memory inside the server?: When I first joined, Myrf took me in under his wing as soon as I joined - which was the decider for me staying on the server for the length of time I have been here :)
Favourite friend?: Toughie.. I don't like picking favourites soo I'll just list a few; doc_engie, carcar4, Kaolai, DadJaeger, Tomb_Vine, and a ton more that I still talk to on a regular basis :)
Favourite Town?: Bushido V5
Favourite Event?: Mob arena V5, Noobsween being my favourite map
Favourite Season (Noobween, Noobentines, Noobmas.. etc) Noobmas, always fun to participate in the events hosted at this time :)
What you love about the server: The community, it's something different to other minecraft servers, the friendliness and family feel you recieve upon joining the game really defines the meaning of family friendly

Which version did you start?: I think I started 2014 April V6
How did you find us?: I was searching for a new server to enjoy, because I had been on some that had died. I randomly found it from the minecraft servers lists or a different reliable sites minecraft server list.
Most fondest memory inside the server?: When I played my first admin hosted server game, sandpit or other one.
Favorite friend?: Halcyon13, Leigh5556, and all friendly people that I've had the pleasure to meet.
Favorite Town?: V6 Gallifrey
Favorite Event?: The drop parties, snowball, and all the those other admin hosted games.
Favorite Season?: I really enjoyed Noobsween, because of the candy for special items villagers.
What you love about the server: The staff, Larry more so because he is helpful on teamspeak.  Also the custom biome stuff so amazing, the events and parties, and especially all the good nice players.
Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell:

There was one a great assassin who was known throughout the lands.  His name was known as Deadum, because wherever he went death was left in his wake.  But one day while Deadum was following through on a new special target destined for death by the league of assassins he worked for.  Deadum's intended target was The Great King of the Noob castle, but to get to the king Deadum would have to kill the 100 guards that were always protecting the king.

But then Deadum had the idea to go undercover as one of the kings guard.  So Deadum set out from the secret cave system the league of assassins had their main base at.  The Noob castle was a 3 week journey on horseback but Deadum preferred to ride his pet cross demensional traveling Enders dragon. 

After Deadum arrived behind a small wood of trees Near Noob castle he sent the Enders dragon back to it's realm, drew his twin short swords and started stealthily advancing towards the castle.  As Deadum neared the front gate a guard saw him and drew his sword.  But before the guard had a chance to think Deadum knocked him out with the flat of hbad left blade.  So after having put on the guards uniform over his own atire, Deadum made his way towards the throne room.

Once Deadum had successfully made it into the throne room, he headed straight for the king.  As Deadum drew his blades the other guards started running towards him to try to protect their king.  But Deadum had already made it onto his throne platform.  Deadum raised his blades poised to strike but before he did, he gazed at the king of Noob castle in the eyes and knew instantly who he really was. 

Having dropped his blades Deadum kneeled before the king his father.

Which version did you start?:  I have no idea! I guess I had signed onto the server a while ago, then just played single player for the most part, but once I restarted playing in December I only play on the server now.
How did you find us?: Probably planet minecraft.
Most fondest memory inside the server?: I've had lots of good times with my friend Brendend, with whom I'd played Minecraft for a long time, we even went to minecon together! Building with him is always fun. But I've had  lot of fun in Ethereal too with new people.
Building things for the town is great. Putting up the barn in Ethereal for the cow spawner was lots of fun. The best part of building for a town is that you can get recognition from other people and ideas on how to build better.
And roleplaying with pizzagirl99 is fun too. She'll pretend to be running a little store at the Ethereal Boardwalk and I'll order. It is fun acting like a total kid again!

Most fondest memory inside the server?:Obtaining a book from a drop party containing a free VIP upgrade.

Favourite friend?:DadJaeger, Aqw, Mrfloris, Mcven, Halcyon13, Sadlad, Sir_Andrew99876, Thebrantard, & Qzacidman

Favourite Town?:Gallifrey (of course), Shangri-La, Windermere, Dracomere, & I can't leave out Noobstown!

Favourite Event?:Drop Parties and Mob Arena

What you love about the server: It has a fantastic community and its a great server that you can call home.

Most fondest memory inside the server?: Fatnoob and the other staff members guiding me along as I first joined, and now helping everybody to the best of my ability! :)

What you love about the server: I love everything about the server. It's so friendly and has always been like a second family to me for the past (almost) 4 years.
Any additional stories/tales you wish to tell: I don't have enough time (or a good enough memory, haha) to write most of the amazing stories I've had here. I just want to say thank you to everybody who has been apart of them, and a thank you to everybody for playing Noobstown with me. It's been absolutely amazing and I've loved every minute of it.
