Hey all,

I'm pleased to announce Magicman27's Winning Mob Arena will be live tonight as part of the official events! (Pidgeot's winning entry added next week)

The arena is called 'Fireice' for it's contrast in both lava/ice + one of Noobstown's users is called 'Fireice808' so why not!

We've also made small class changes, which includes the infinity enchant added to archers. We're also aware of issues with the Oddjob class and Chemist, which we intend to replace completely. That's where you come in!

Our new competition is to create your 'dream' class, or maybe propose a class change to an already existing class!

Class name: Summoner
Kit:
- (Head) Herobrine player skull - Command to get: /give <player name> minecraft_skull 1 3 {SkullOwner:MHF_Herobrine} - Is an official Mojang head for custom maps and such.
- Leather chestplate, dyed purple
- Leather leggings, dyed purple
- Leather boots, dyed black
- 6x Snow
- 3x Pumpkin
- * Previously 3x Wolf Spawn Eggs here, but I had a better idea * 15x Bones to summon 3 tamed wolves using the click 5 bones on ground trick.
- Iron Sword
- Healing I potion
Overview: Class can spawn 3 wolves, 3 snow golems and has magical glowing eyes :)

Class name: Mechanic
Kit:
- Leather helmet, not dyed
- Iron chestplate
- Leather leggings, not dyed
- Leather boots, dyed black
- 3x TNT
- Iron Door (For a small barrier)
- 3x Redstone Torches
- 9x Redstone (Dust)
- 3x Firework (Perhaps for a victory dance?)
- 1x Stone Sword
- 3x Healing II Potions
- 1x Iron Block (Anvil, would also need basic materials to repair with.)
          ^ I imagine this class sort of replacing the oddjob.
Overview: Main special ability is that player can place and detonate TNT. Also has an anvil so player can repair tools.

Edit: Had a few more ideas:

Class name: Ninja or assassin
Kit:
- Leather helmet, dyed black
- Leather chestplate, dyed black
- Leather leggings, dyed black
- Leather boots, dyed black - Enchanted with Feather Falling 4 and Depth Strider 3.
- Stone Sword, named "Katana", with the generic.movementSpeed modifier tag.
- 16x Snowball, named "Shuriken"
- 1x Healing II potion
- 3x Jump Boost II potion (Now available in Vanilla with 1.8.x)
- 1x Invisibility Potion
Overview: Has stealth, speed and leaping abilities. Also has both a ranged and melee weapon.

Class name: Berserker
Note: This class depends on the capability to give a single potion several effects, I don't know if the admins can do that.
Kit:
- 3x "Berserker" Potion: Nausea, Speed II, Strength II, Resistance II, Jump Boost I, Instant Health II, Fire Resistance II, Absorption, Regeneration I
- Diamond Axe
- Chain Chestplate
- Leather Leggings
- Leather Boots
Overview: Is super OP when has Berserker potion on, but fairly weak otherwise. The 3 potions is just a recommendation, amount could be raised or lowered.
Edit: Found it is possible, and in Vanilla, to create custom potions with more than one effect. Berserker potion would look something like this, I imagine:
/give @p potion 3 8203 {CustomPotionEffects: [ {Id: 1,Amplifier: 1,Duration: 3600},{Id: 5,Amplifier: 1,Duration: 3600},{Id:6,Amplifier: 1,Duration: 20},{Id: 8,Amplifier: 0,Duration: 3600},{Id: 9,Amplifier: 1,Duration: 3600},{Id: 11,Amplifier: 0,Duration: 3600},{Id: 12,Amplifier: 0,Duration: 3600},{Id: 21,Amplifier: 4,Duration: 3600}],display: {Name: "Berserker Potion",Lore:["Become Super OP for 3 minutes!","(Headaches may occur as a side effect - no refunds.)"]}}
Bit long, but it does the job.
I also added some more armor to the berserker, feel like it would be ridiculously underpowered in later rounds without the potion, and changed the weapon to the more suitable axe.

Class name : Dragon Tamer
Kit :
-iron helmet

- iron boots
-fire protection 3 on all of the armor pieces
-iron sword, with sharpness 1 on it
-a blaze powder, which is a piece of stolen dragons fire, which has fire aspect 1 on it

Class name : Medicine man
Kit :
-iron helmet
-iron chestplate
-iron leggings
-iron boots
-stone sword, with knockback 1, so that he can push mobs away from the injured
-64 splash potions of healing, but have a low chance to inflict damage by turning into damage potions for a few seconds
-6 healing potions
-3 golden apples

Class name : Animal spirit
Kit :
-chain helmet
-iron chestplate
-Gold leggings
-leather boots
-gold sword
-magical stick that summons a random friendly mob, 30 second cool down
-an apple with sharpness 1 on it, so you can feed the hostile mobs damage
3 healing potions

Here is a list of possible classes. As a note, all classes here mentioned can be changed by the admins in anyway to better suit MA guidelines and fairness.  For the kits, I have put what I'd name the item, fallowed by the actual item in parenthesis I hope you all like what I have put together, enjoy :)





Class name: Druid
Kit:
- Druid Helm (leather helmet, dyed White)
- Druid Garb (leather chestplate, dyed white)
- Druid Chaps (leather leggings, dyed White)
- Druid Wraps (leather shoes, dyed White)
-  the Feeding (1 Bone, this would summon 3 wolves to command) This Item has a mutual cooldown of 2 minutes
- the reaping (1 Stick, this would summon 5 silverfish to command) This Item has a mutual cooldown 2 minutes
- the parcel (1 paper, this would summon 3 snow golems) This item has a mutual cooldown 2 minutes
-Wooden Sword

 Kindred animal spirit are the word of bond here. The Druid class is mainly a class that seeks the aid of its friends. Its strength comes from its numbers. Activating any of the 3 item skills (the bone, stick, or paper) forces the cooldown to begin on all 3 item skills. This is to ensure that the druid is not overpwered.


Class name: The Mutant
Kit:
- Arrrrgh (clock used to change form into an Iron Golem) This item has a 30 second time limit and a 90 second cooldown.
- Wooden sword

The mutant class is very weak when not in mutant form, having only a wooden sword. However when this guy transforms (using the clock) its done clowning around. Upon transformation this guy turns into a beastly Iron Golem for 30 second with all the original iron golem traits. Becareful though you don't want to get into a tough spot after the 30 second are up, cause you can't do it again for another minute.

Class name: Beat Boxer
Kit:
- Butterfly Shorts (diamond leggings with protection 4, unbreaking 3)
- Floaty FLow Socks (leather shoes with unbreaking x, dyed white)
- Beat Boxing Gloves (20 note blocks with knockback 2, sharpness 3)

"Woooh I'm so pretty, I'm so pretty", and you can be too be, by choosing to be a Beat Boxer. This fast floating dude can knock the socks off any mob in the arena, but becareful. After you go 20 rounds with those note blocks you are gonna be tired and all out of energy.

* if would be cool if the note blocks made a random note each use*


Class name: Cannoneer
Kit:
-Gadget Helm (iron helm)
-Gadget Chestplate (iron chestplate)
-Gadget Trousers (leather leggings with unbreaking 1)
-Gadget Shoes (iron Shoes)
- Cannon Fire (20 fire charges)
- Sidearm (bow with infinity)
- Popcap *( if it is possible to name the arrow and still use it with infinity bow)

Steady, aim, Fire!! If you like the get them from far then try the addition of the archer class, The Cannoneer. This  class can not only use a bow but also blast em from far with there trusty cannon fire. This is a pretty straight forward class.


Class name:The Mime
Kit:
-Copy Hat (leather Helmet dyed red)
-Copy Body (leather chestplate dyed white)
-Copy Capries (leather leggings dyed red)
-Copy Flip Floppies (leather shoes dyed white)
-Happy Attacky (wooden Sword)
-Mirror Mode (1 potions of Invisibility 3min mobs do not aggro during this potion use)

Hey, Hi, are you just repeating what I am saying? stop that! ok fine since you are just gonna say everything that I say you will tell me about the Mime class. The Mime class is a regular melee class with one key ingredient. This class can disappear for 3 minutes. Use this one wisely though, as you can only do it once.
* as a note, if you are damaged by touching a mob or by fire, or any block you loose the effect to be invisible and therefore will aggro mobs. Also, if you strike a mob while invisible you loose the invisible effect and therefore will aggro mobs.

Class name: Personal Trainer
Kit:
- Protein Shake (Potion of Strength 2)
- Boxing glove (apple or something with a sharpness enchant to make it somewhat useful, but not like a sword)
- Gatorade (Potion of Regeneration)
- Healthy Snack (Golden apple, the regular kind, not enchanted)
- Trainers (leather boots with feather falling 2)
- Track pants (leather pants)
- Sweatband (leather cap with protection 2 because why not)
- Feel the burn! (potion of fire resistance, i guess to help with blazes)


A support class, "motivates" other classes with his strength potions and KO's zombies with his fists of iron and deflects arrows with his buns of steel.
