The server will go down on Monday the 23rd of April 2012 for at least 30minutes to an hour as we switch to our much faster and stronger server. This upgrade will enable us to have more players online and decrease the lag for your benefit.

Server specs:

Intel Xeon E3-1230
16GB DDR3 ECC Kingston Memory
Intel 320 80GB SSD
Supermicro X9SCM-F
IPMI 2.0
Supermicro SuperChassis 111LT-330UB
Automated Backups provided by Global7Hosting

Once again thank you to everyone that has supported this server, you people have made this upgrade possible and will allow the server to grow and improve into the future.

I thought I was just slow or something but good to know that I wasn't going insane!

Anyways, I would like to thank you, noobsbeard, and waterworth and all that are working on the server to make this one of the best servers on minecraft to date! Thank you for keeping it updated.

Just saying, I have never seen the server at its "MAx player limit" why make this bigger?

The point is, that the more slots the server can viably handle, the better the hardware it's running on, and thus all the less lag for everyone that plays on it. Though Foob didn't specifically mention making the server bigger, he simply stated that the new server computer would allow the server to handle more players.

I cant wait for the server to stop with the small lag spikes at least that is all i get when it comes to lag on this server :)

yeah, lil_kahann's jukebox won't make those humpti-bumpti-humptibumpti noices anymore. it'll be more regular intervals. it'll also make it easier to detect mobs :D

noobstown.com is the server ip address. Next time make a topic with this question in the support section of the forum only because it will be easier for us to read your it so your question can be read faster. :)
