Hello everyone,
Since we announced Version 6.0 on our 2nd Birthday we've been planning, developing, building, structuring and designing our way through the new server. A huge mountain to climb and we have almost reached the peak! We are super excited about the prospects of seeing all of our hard work come together and uniting what essentially has been our motivation over the past 4 or so months, you guys; the community.
Today I wanted to talk about something I haven't really mentioned; our worlds outside of spawn.
So, we've spoke a lot about the spawn but, we haven't really mentioned to you what exaclty the areas outside of spawn look like?
Well, you're in luck! I'll explain.
Biomes
So we all known Minecraft biomes can be quite dull, they are not always formed in the best of ways and will hardly ever appeal to you as 'beautiful'.
Well, we want to change that! We'd like to re-imagine some of our worlds and make some interesting changes that will create a more realistic and inviting place to live in.
Minecraft itself has some planned changes in 1.7 that will introduces a few new biome types and changes, these include:
- Canyons
- Redwood Forests
- Changes to Ocean
- Cherry blossom Forests
- *Possible Volcanic biomes, yet to be confirmed*
We are adding all of them, and more. Expect larger biomes and custom biomes too!
So, what can you expect?
- Improved Deserts.
- Savanna style plains.
- Redwood Forests with custom trees.
- Canyons similar to the Grand Canyons.
- Giant Mountain ranges with winding Rivers.
- Snow covered Forests.
- Real looking Swamps.
- Beautiful and peaceful islands (Like to live alone? Claim and island with our chunk system!)
- Rain Forests.
- Real Jungles.
- Glaciers.
- Volcanic islands and Volcanoes.
- Snowy Mountains.
- Hilly plains.
This isn't just the Wilderness world either, we are doing it for both of them! Do you want to create a town that spans across a giant Canyon with bridges? Go for it, nothing is stopping you.
The version 6.0 worlds are your oyster!
What's happening to default biomes? Can we keep some of those too?
Don't worry, we aren't changing the games biomes completely, but simply adding additional ones which will add a little more diversity to our world, everything you have now and in your single player world will be in version 6.0.

Auctioning
Admittedly we've been rather quiet about the Auction system, we've given you the basic details and told you briefly how it'll work but you haven't really seen what it's all about.
Upon opening the Auction on the website you will be presented by a categories list to your left, and the central
Auctioning zone in the center, this will display all of the auctions; the amount, price, how many bids have been placed on the item, by which player and the amount of time left on the item.
There are also some cool features that'll help all you merchants such as Graphs displaying the value rise and fall over a number of months.

How will I send items to be sold?
It's easy! Visit the auction located at spawn (One Auction house located at the Docks and the other VIP Zone)
Open the deposit Chest, and you will be presented by a window which will say "Market (Deposit)"
Any item you place here will be sent to your virtual website inventory, which will allow you to post them onto the onsite Auction to be sold.
How will I collect items I have won?
Once again this cannot be simpler! ~ In the same place; The Auction house. There will be another chest called "Market (Collect)" these Collection chests are much larger and will house all the items you have won and items that are ready to be collected for use.

Obviously you won't receive the items until you've won the bid. You will also be notified on game and on the site if you've been outbid or won a bid.

P.S We do have a Party planned to celebrate the Last week of version 6.0, this will be organised by Waterworth. Currently our focus is still to ensure 6.0 is stable and ready to go before we announce any such party ~ Thank you for understanding.
