The server is currently down for some quick maintenance while we try to sort out some major lag issues and issues regarding the lag created through the recent rollback of a town.
The server is likely to be down for at least an hour. We will post once it's back online.
We are sorry for any problems this downtime may have caused and we will be back online as soon as possible!
The PVP event will be rescheduled for the day of the main party!

I was wondering why the server was down.
Hopefully this settles all the lag problems that have happened recently! Take as long as you need to get it all sorted out.

Update:
- Towns will no longer roll back, disabled.
- Fixing lag issues and updating plugins
- Moving Towny to SQL

I kind of feel mad because it happened just after my town got lost this gets in :C

By "towns can't rollback" does it mean that when a town goes bankrupt the whole thing can't rollback but /town unclaim on individual plots will cause a rollback, or absolutely no rollback period?

I just want to know how it is fair that OakHaven got rolled back, but other towns that accidentally plundered to the ground didn't? I heard IrShawz took the money out of OakHaven's bank on purpose. A few other towns got the money stole from the bank and the citizens and the Mayor of that town had to just get up and carry on playing when all their stuff was lost. :S
I am only going by what I heard and I was just curious why it was only OakHaven that got rolled back out of all the towns in the past considering this is usually a really fair server.

What does that mean then? Which town was rolled back?

OakHaven. The entire town was rolled back to how the plots were BEFORE the town was created. It was not re-rolled back to before the town was fully unclaimed.

What fatnoob means when he says towns can't rollback, I believe that means that towns will not delete themselves when they go bankrupt. So as you said, /town unclaim will not rollback the plot to its natural state. This is only a hunch.
