Title: cant get on to server

it said failed to log in:java.io.IOE.exeption and a bunch of numbers i need help

Same, but I believe it's on Mojang's side. Going to Minecraft.net and then to "Help" will give you the statuses of things like this.

Or doing what Licksterboy said and going to http://help.mojang.com/ (http://help.mojang.com/)
