Daughter, Beachkite did not receive activation email.  (Read 1819 times)

My daughter signed up for membership and she has not received the activation email.  We have tried several email addresses and we have checked all the folders.  I was able to sign up with no issue so not sure what the problem is.  Is there a way for you, as administrators to bypass the email and supply her with a code?  If not I am not sure what to do.

Hi Beachgoonie, What email hosts have you tried? Have you tried gmail, and waited at least 30 minutes to get the email?

I have tried both gmail and my internet provider email address.  I have been waiting and trying for a couple of hours.  I think when she first signed up she used the same email address as I did, so not sure if that caused issue, even though we got no error message.

I used gmail and had no issue at all, I did find in my spam folder but added it to trusted site.

I hope this can be resolved, she really wants to play :-) but without the activation she can't become a member.

Hi, could you try and create another email using gmail, and see if it works? (Using the same email to make another account will not work)

If you could email me at [email protected] from the email which was used to register with then I'll be able to manually activate the account for her.

Hello

There is still an issue.  She still shows up as guest in game and when I try to log her into the site it comes back with PW not correct.  Using the one she initially signed up with.  I take option that PW was forgot and it sends me an email with new PW, problem is I am not getting the email.

Is there anyway to just remove her, beachkite from the site, clearing up whatever glitch she is experiencing, so that she can just try and apply new and fresh?

Anything you can do to fix this is appreciated.
