Title: Inter web troubles

Recently i have been having troubles with minecraft, the game won't connect to the internet even though i am connected, I know it is only minecraft doing this not anyother things as my internet is perfectly fine.
Has anyone got some tips on how to fix this, i think maybe the fact my java hasn't been updated for a while.

P.S. It comes up with this message when i try to connect to noobscraft "java.net.SocketException: Permission denied: Connect".
