why are pistons not allowed?  just asking

Pistons are disabled due to a number of bugs and glitches involving them.  I will not go into details on these bugs to protect the integrity of other servers that have them enabled.  Once the bugs and glitches are fixed, we will enable them again.

Pistons and sticky pistons are basically the same thing, so the bugs that involve one may possible involve both, in short both types of piston are disabled.
