Title: How do you make a new town?

a friend and i are sitting on about 50k and want to know how much it costs and how to make a town. thanks :)

Well that's a good start but you need 250k more as a town costs 300k. After getting 300k you can now make a town via '/town new (townname)'. The area you claim with that command will give you a 16x16 area or a 'chunk' you can view chunks via the '/towny map' command. Every expansion or land claimed will cost 1k from the town bank and everyday there is a tax of 200. Anyway that's just how to start one. Moderator ajhl49 actually made a simple guide in the forums located on the guides section. You can use good ol' Google and Youtube for more added info on the towny plug-in.
