+Town outposts:

-Residential outpost (plots outside of town for more people) - do /t outpost to get there.

-Greenhouse outpost (pumkin, wheat, sugarcane, tree, watermelon farms underneath) - do /t outpost 2 to get there.

-Town Hall outpost (still in the making for practical use inside the building) - do /t outpost 3 to get there.





Town Statistics (as of 9/14/2012):

Noobz in Bank: about 409,571

# of Residents: 111

# of Assistants: 7





A few benefits of the town include:

- A zoo complete with all of the animals in the Minecraft world, which you can enjoy at anytime during your stay.

 - Town blacksmith; contact me or Mitch_182 and we will repair any of your items free at cost.

 - Lots of room to use your imagination and pitch ideas while we continue to expand and improve the town.

 - No need to worry about people in town pestering you, as there is almost always a Town Assistant or the Mayor (me) on to take care of troublemakers and to handle the situation the right way.

 - Marketing district is right at the spawn, just ask me, Mitch_182, or a TA to get you your very own shop!

 - The town itself is very easy to navigate because of careful planning, so visitors and new residents won't get lost (and it makes it look nicer also)

 - Archery, fishing, and maze competitions held at random times just for fun with the community!

We have lots planned for the town, and need your help to makes those plans come true!!

Mountain of Noobs (Statues of all 4 Admins that are in charge of running the server)
Make practical uses inside Town Hall

Hey! I claim a plot in your town but i wasn't allowed to enter the animal areas. I have already joined Dragonfire.Does that mean I can't join yours? If no, what's the point of me claiming your plot without being able to access the public "animal farm".

It depends on what kind of plot you claimed, if you claimed a plot saying [Embassy] when you walk on it you have claimed a plot that people not living in the town can own.
(That will make you not able to do anything else then build on that bought area, which then include open doors etc)

If you want to claim a plot with just a price you need to live in the town to be able to claim it, this will then most likely give you access to all the town areas like the zoo :)

Yeah the plot you claimed was an embassy plot for a shop, which means your not technically apart of the town.

Unfortunately, you would have to leave the town you are currently residing at to join Oakvale.

You have to have a mayor or town assistant of a town to invite you to the town.  I am the mayor of Oakvale, and MItch_182 and leafstorm732 are my town assistants.  Just say when you are online for one of them, and ask to join the town. 

To see who is online, simply press the 'tab' button.

Adding one point Fish_james forgot to mention. Because Oakvale is in the same nation as DragonFire you as a resident of Oakvale would also get access to DragonFire`s assets like the NationMobspawner (allied towns even have the possibility to claim an outpost in a tunnel next to the spawner so their residents can get there with a simply chatcommand).

I want to say thank you for welcoming me to the town. It's nice to have a place to hang my hat, and the buildings already there are inspiring. Especially that large Creeper, I REALLY don't want him looking down at the town... ;D

My pet is mostly harmless, he's house broken and his size is only due to the weight gain from the de-TNT procedure that was done to render him harmless, lol

Just being a new town member myself, my plot is 16x16 and cost me 500 noobs. I've seen larger plots though, but I haven't checked how much they are (I'm still accumulating noobs :) ).

Just being a new town member myself, my plot is 16x16 and cost me 500 noobs. I've seen larger plots though, but I haven't checked how much they are (I'm still accumulating noobs :) ).

Well everyones first plot costs 500 but then on it costs 1000. The plots you have probably seen are 4 plots joined into one which is 32x32 which will cost you 4000 noobz all up. Contact either me or fish_james if you would like a masion plot made for you once you get the money :)

Wonton, you were temporarily banned because you sand mined RIGHT outside of town, and that is obviously a rule for the town.  *Hint:  If you do any mining, go to the Mining world.  This should be your lesson of your temporary ban put into place.

Let us keep this post on topic and talk about the town, and not bans please.  That includes you as well burnfireblaze100.

The group is still there Omega, but Fish changed it from public to secret due to some privacy concerns. The best work around I can think of at the moment for anyone wanting to keep up with news and events on it, send me or Fish a forum PM and we'll manually exchange Facebook info to do manual invites.

Oakvale now has there very own forums for the Oakvale community, which you can find posted on our Town Board at the town spawn!

sure thing.  All you have to do is ask me in game to add you to the town.  If I am not on, ask Mitch_182 or any other assistants in town.  Do /town Oakvale to see the assistants, or just look at the board at town spawn.

Update on the town:

WE are currently not making any new plots in the main part of town, and have stopped expansion until a few other projects are complete.

Here are the list of things that I would like to finish first:

1. The spawn for the residential outposts so we can START making plots and to recruit new people to town.

2.  Finish the Greenhouse

3.  Make the mountain of newbs

4.  Claim the rest of land around town

If any houses are foreclosed however, you are welcome to jump in and take a foreclosed plot.

I forgot about that, I need to think of a place to put it.  Would the Nation mind if I put it at a /t oupost possibly? I think if we make it massive that would be perfect, and Omega, one of Oakvale's assistants, found the perfect open place for it.
