I have a question will there be veiwing stands for people to watch from and also i think it would be cool if u had a mod or somone film the games and post the video to the home page. I think this is a great idea and my hats off to you esp1222. Great Idea!!!

I`d like to ask 2 question regarding the Hunger games.

What exactly are "sponsor-getters" and sponsors? (in the book I can`t watch the film (it`s not shown in this country and certainly never will be and I refuse to watch illegal copies from the internet; never heard of the book as well but it might not have been translated while I was still back in Germany), so I don`t know exactly how a sponsor is defined in the story of these games (most certainly not by only paying for putting up an advertisment on the edge of the arenafield).

I`d also like to ask a question regarding DragonFire. Our mayor couldn`t get online due to rl reasons for a while (he put our TA`s officially in command but they might not have gotten a message), is it still possible to enter 2 contestants from DragonFire? If not, that`s sad for the volunteers (yes walls, that includes you) but totally understandable (you have a lot to organize and the deadline is over). It just would be nice to get a simple yes or no in this matter.

I think sponsors are people that can send the tributes things during the games to give them an edge. i.e a sword or food

Ah thanks, that makes sense. So I think this will be the same during the serverevent? Does that mean the tributes have to start the games with no equipment?

The tributes start with nothing. There is a golden building in the middle of the arena called the Cornucopia. It has items, (swords, other weapons, food), for the tributes. The Sponsors, as tyja said, are able to send in special items to their favorite tributes, or a tribute that makes a sponsor want to send in items because of a story from a Mayor/Mentor.

DragonFire cannot enter. The town's TA's were told a week before the first date I put. Right now, only the towns with tributes stay except OakHaven, which is being swapped with BlackThorn.

Can you explain what the actual job of a gamemaker/overseer is? You said I could be one

... But I don't know what they're supposed to do except from the fact that they watch the people in the hunger games.

Jay, a gamemaker is someone who actually plans out the games. Now of course in minecraft, thy can't do much, but in the books, they planed traps, and special events that took place during the games to lower the player count. Basically they are the ones who plan the stadium, events, clothing the tributes wear, and are responsible for everything that goes on during the games.

We may end up using that map, if Fatnoob can WE it into a space far away from the main arenas and figure some way we can have the items get reset in the chests. It's a lot larger and will allow longer matches.
