The stuff I stated wasn't my opinion but the result of tests made by several people that you can find on the web.

Your opinion was that branch mining was at least equivalent to unlimited trading and if one easy way to get money is banned, all of them should be.
Those tests shows that they are not equivalent.
Most people see villager trading as equivalent to cheating/exploiting.
My opinion is that a server shop as the one in V5 is almost the same thing as unlimited trading.
The admins felt it was better to remove both trading and the server shop.

Everyone has an opinion, I never tried to take that away from you.
