Age:   41 (oldfart  :P)

How many hours per day:   2

Why you want this role:   I want to help out where I can with this server, doing the paypal thing already made me feel better, but if I can do more, I sure would like to.
You could argue I am not on a lot, only about 2 hours a day, but I am GMT+2 and mostly play late at night, up until 02:00 am.
Perhaps theres a need for an OP at that time, then I would gladly help out.
At my age I think its safe to say that I know what responsibility means, rest assure I will carry mine.

Past experience:   Played on a few server before, one where I had worldedit permission, so moderate knowledge on that subject to.

Time zone:  GMT+2
Additional information:   I am a professional ICT specialist, expertise : Networking (HP Procurve), internet connections, VPN, firewalls (Juniper), VMware ESX(i), enterprise storage (HP EVA and SUN), fibre backbones and also Linux trained (OpenSUSE and Ubuntu)
So perhaps, although some people have doubt it, I can be of any assistance with server problems to.

Past experience: to be 100% truthful, none

How many hours a day:  8+ on week days, 3:00 P.M. - 2:00 A.M. on Friday and Saturday, all day sunday.

Why I want this job:  To help eliminate griefs, to be there when someone needs help or has a question, and to stop people from trolling or using any sort of inappropriate comments such as racial segregation, sexual segregation or anything of the sort. I believe this server should be a server where everyone gets along and no one is judged for anything. (not that there is any major trolling going on, but i have seen some)

Why i feel as though i am capable of this job: I take jobs very seriously and maturely. I know the rules, i know the boundaries, i will not use the benefits of being an operator for any other purpose than to help catch grievers in action, and anyone disobeying the rules. I also feel as though i have a good schedule, I live in Eastern time zone, and i am on line when many operators are not. I am not the type of person that is easily corrupted with any form of power, I prefer to be  a trusted, respectable, and reliable person. I am very friendly and easy to get along with, and i feel as though i am ready to take on this job.

Past experience: None. Everyone starts somewhere, right?

Additional Info: I am in virtual school full time, year round. Week days I am usually done by 3:00 or sooner. I don't school on weekends, and i am available most of the time during weekends. I plan on taking Java class next semester; I hope to gain a solid foundation on computer programming, and Java language.

I must say, when I heard that operators cannot have towns, I was pretty disheartened, but I understand the rules and why they are in place, and I am willing to let go of the possibility of having a town.

I like eastern time zone.. =D  I live in central! I say let him be an Op..!   I see him on a lot when I am on and he is a nice guy. =)

And dude, you could live in my town if you wanted. =)  Not to take advantage... Cause that is lame.  I get my own stuff, unless residents or assistants help me out..  Just a nice, friendly place to live.  The only time I would abuse you is if I got griefed I would come straight to you. =P

Why do I want this role? It gets on my nerves and saddens me about all this "greifing" that happens in game and posts on the forums, I know that I can't stop the grieving, but at least be there for the people when I'm on. Besides the greifing I do enjoy helping people that have any needs while on the server, and unlike some people, I enjoy helping the new people that join the server, it gives me a challenge.

Past experiences :Running my own personal private test bukkit server For my home network
Time zone : Eastern Standard Time (GMT -5:00)

Additional information:Don't let my age fool you, I am very mature for my age and I take being an "op" a position for me that will help me give back to and offer my services for help, it will also keep me busy.
I am starting to get into some developing for bukkit, I havent made any plugins, but I like looking though source and seeing if I can make anything better (Or fix things)
I do keep an eye on the bukkit forums and I know a lot of commands off by heart.
Thanks for reading.

EDIT:Updated Age: to my curent age  (Abit late :P), As well as Past experiences:, and cleaned things up.

IGN: seshyo

Age: 20

How many hours per day: Way more than I should when the actual server is up, upwards to 8 hours a day or more

Why you want this role: Recently on the old server we were seeing more and more people griefing/trolling alot of the members of the server. Most of the victims were younger and had a hard time dealing with other people within their own town or could not communicate with those who were trying to make their time miserable. There isnt always an OP on around the clock but of course no one can expect that. From seeing certain OP's play times and their own schedule, there generally isnt one on during my own play time and that seems to be when hell breaks loose on the server. I feel that I am more than able to fill in that gap and provide whatever aid is needed. The position of OP is not necessarily an enjoyable position and it is a large amount of responsibility.

Past experience: As far as games in general, I've been guild masters in World of Warcraft, Community Officer in Lord of the Rings Online, City leader in Star Wars Galaxies, and other small positions. As far as experience with dealing with other people in real life, I've been a tutor throughout school, including both years in college and I used to babysit when I was younger. I am more than capable of dealing with any age group that may be on the server.

Time Zone: Central Time Zone (yes that means the United States)

Additional Information: I'm an Engineering major at Texas A&M so I play Minecraft because I love building and I enjoy taking on large projects. I am also very interested in Western Civilization from the Archaic Greek period up to the end of the Crusades.

This one please. Not only does he have moderator experience, but he's on when the other op's are not, which seems to be when **** hits the fan all the time. Plus he's responsible and super legit.

How many hours per day:   5-8

Why you want this role:   I believe we need more ops on during my time. Most ops aren't from the US, so we don't have ops on at certain times. I'm in the US, and I think we need a US op. I've also been an op on a previous server.

Past experience:   Yes

Time zone:  EST

Additional information: I'm not a power-hungry person. I'd never do anything against the rules, and against the Op rules.

So true, Esp is not only a great, helpful guy.  He's also a very reliable candidate for this role.

I can always pass the town onto some else, I wouldn't spawn items for the town, as most people know I only build legit builds. Most likely I'd pass it on to Kon, but nowhere does it say I cant be a town assistant

It's great to see someone like Seshyo have intrest in Operating.  Leaving your town may not be the best choice, but it's for the best of the server <3

I personally don't really know you very well compared to the rest of the server, but wouldn't mind knowing you :P

By the looks of it they might be getting ready to select a new Op that will be on late in the A.M central time. I know Seshyo is on a lot, and on late at night. My time when no Op is on (Central Time). Maybe we can have a vote with some candidates that the Admins and Staff pick. But the admins and staff members should have the final say. The vote would just help the Admins and Staff see who the community would like best to become part of the staff. Just an idea.

How many hours per day:   Depends on my work schedule but usually around 5-8? Usually later at night for my time zone, when there are never any other OPs on.
Why you want this role:   To help with the increased number of players on the server, most of whom are new to the Minecraft server experience. With increased popularity comes a lot more greifers and problems between players. I want to be there to make Noobstown a welcoming experience and a great server.
Past experience:   I've been a moderator for the server of Lyseria, which is now down. But I do have experience with BigBrother, which I know you guys use to prevent against greifing. So I know most of the commands and could easily look up the wiki again to refresh my memory. :)
Time zone:  GMT - 8
Additional information:   I want this role to fly! lol, just joking. But I would like to help the keep the server smooth going and friendly. I would just play like any other  normal player  until I had some dispute to settle or problem to help with. I don't want to ruin my Minecraft experience or anyone else's!
