I am just wondering if there is a way to protect an area that is not part of a town? The reason I ask is because I am building a tower but I need to protect it again (as I accidentally and noobishly unprotected part of it) and we are out of blocks for me to be able to claim it again with towny. is there some other way I could protect it in the meantime until we get things figured out with towny?

The only unprotected part at this point if I continue building will be the secret entrance, and within an hour of it being there it was already griefed and the pistons taken ( I mean I got the pistons back of course) but I am really reluctant to spend any more time on it with the possibility of it getting greifed again. I will probably just work on other things til we sort the towny thing out I guess.
